BC is a ghost town. There are a few attractive girls around but they are far and few between,

I have heard several reasons for the decline.
#1 The all inclusive hotels want the area cleaned up.
#2 The Pan American games will be held in the DR and BC will be one of the event sites.
Things picked up on Monday and Tuesday but it's
not like it used to be.

June 2002 Definately out of season, slow for a weekend night. Which made it probably one of the best weekends .
Started off by checking into Hotel Europa, a girl friendly hotel. Clean safe 38.00 dollars.

Went for dinner at a little Swiss/Italin restaraunt. Good dinner great conversation all for 15.00 us including tip.

All of the nice dominicanas past and smiled, not pushy. A very safe town, new police chief, he knows what the girls do and has them in line, because he knows that the gringos are good for the economy.

Had drinks at a MadDogs, and met three of nice looking dark chicas one was 22 yo about an 8. She wasn t pushy but played with her straw in a way that got me excited. Need less to say she became my girl of choice.

Boca Chica, Duarte Street. Success in Santo Domingo and having read varying reports on Boca Chica I ventured the short distance for two nights of my favorite pass time. The action is pretty much limited to evenings 9pm to 3am and almost exclusively on Duarte street which is closed to traffic in the evening. There are several pubs and discos struggling for survival down the four block strip of Duarte which makes up the nightlife of Boca Chica. Unfortunately, the bulk of the girls are Haitian and frightfully homely. Diligence can pay off but one has to be tenacious. I finally found a 9 amoung the 4's 5's and 6's. She was sattled up to a drunk kid from NY who I joined for a beer at one of the outside tables in front of one of the pubs. I bought him several shots, listened to the bartenders BS and then took my new drunk friend's girl back to the hotel for a physical, hehe! Found out the cheapskate was grinding the poor gal down to $30 for the deed! I acted apauled, and offered her $50 which she gladly accepted. No bad rules and a decent sense of humor made her a good connection in an otherwise wasteland compared to Santo Domingo. If you are up for a challenge here are your tips that could help you survive Boca Chica
1. Do not stay in an all exclusive. They will not allow girls on the property, I recommend the Hotel Zapata. It's right on the beach and only about 6 blocks from the action.
2. Don't give up on action during the day. The trick is to make friends during the evening, many of the girls hang out at the beach during the day and if you are friendly they will remember you and are more than willing for the nooner.
3. EVERYONE there is a theif or a con. They all have a well rehearsed sad story that can only be solved with money, or some great deal they can get you in on. EVERYONE! I was having dinner one evening and at the table next to me was this fat Canadian woman who was listening to this young Dominican's story of woe, the kid was half her age and she was signing over travelers checks to him as I listened to him tell her how beatiful she was..YUK!
4. Watch out for the kids on motorcycles and caution regarding the beach at night, they are not well lite, and while a blow job on a beach is nice it's much safer in your room.
5. Most of the girls are agreeable to BBBJ but require a condom for the other pleasures. I don't like to bicker on prices too much but found that here you are much better off to agree in advance on the price and the service. You can be generous without being foolish.

I am thinking aboyut BC the end of the month. I will be there over the weekend and am hoping it is a little better thsan you stated. I was really hoping for all day activity. Some reports earlie3r stated there were actually better girls during the day because they came into town. Any other guidance you can gice me?

The only luck I had during the day was in the mid-afternoon. The chicas party all nite and sleep all day. The beach was filled with vendors and alot of hustlers pushing company. Both times I entertained the idea I was presented with marginal offerings so I passed politely. I liked the pace in Boca Chica as there was no real pressue. Duarte closes to through traffic and tables and chairs are placed in the street cafe style. It was nice to sit in a chair, have a cold beer, banter with the riff-raff and then stroll down Duarte. The girls started rolling in around 11:00 and tend to camp at one location for quite some time, usually dancing in front of one of the tacky bars. I met a nice waitress at the pizza joint at the far end of Duarte who gave me the run down on the chicas I can't remeber her name but the food was great. You won't starve there, but it is like putting a vending machine next to a grand buffet, when you compare it to Santa Domingo. I hope your experience is better than mine. If it is that much of a drop off I am seriously considering changing my plans. I am considering POP now to be able to have the beach. Thanks for your help. I will let you know of my final decision.

the goverment is trying to reposition the BC as a family destination and has made it more difficult for the girls to work, mostly haitian and dark skinned girls. Be careful here, lots of scamming and conning. The only relief may be on the weekends when lots of folks from Santo domingo hit the beaches and there is an increase of activity both day and night.

I will be returning to DR and visiting Santo Domingo, but I'm interested in taking a peek at Boca Chica. I've composed a list of potential places to visit. Any comments on the following would be appreciated. Suggestions for other places not mentioned here would also be very useful.

duarte street after dark is most activity takes place, the street is closed to traffic in the evenings and becomes a pedestrian mall, there will be many moto-taxi dudes hanging and looking for work, many speak some english and will looking to "hook you up' with whatever your needs and desires may be; i prefer to do my own DD and begin by trolling up and down duarte, hanging in from of 66 for a couple beverages and surveying the scene, you will be approached numerous times by both men and women offering to help you find what you are looking for. The BC scene has become dominated by european men seeking mostly dark skinned talent. the talent moves from location to location along duarte, check with the bartenders to get a better handle on the scene and best place to find the type of talent you are looking for. be careful with daboys offering to score you drugs, the local police are viligent and there are several undercover police working the street

there is a sports pub/pizza and pasta place on the beach side of duarte, the bartenders and owner are ex-pats from Philly, if they have sufficently recovered from the Eagles NFC title game loss (3rd year in a row!!!) last sunday, they are a good resource for talent and what is happening in town, usually my first stop in BC, BTW there is good sports book in BC and odds are usually better than Vegas

Boca Chica was not as much fun as it used to be. The main strip has quite a few bars where the girls hang out. Look at one and smile and they will proposition you. It is no problem taking a girl to the room but make sure that when you book in you pay for a double. In DR, if they don't know you at the hotel and you pay for a single they will want to charge you extra for the girl, sometimes as much as $10-15 each time. If however you book a double room, usually about $3-5 more, you can take whom you like to the room. The girls are 18-30 y.o.range and mostly 6,7's and a few 8's (on rare occassions you can find a 9). Almost exclusively negro or malatto on the main strip.

rates: They will ask for $50 for short time from Gringos but it is all negotiable. I found that, like the local men it is best to talk local currency (36pesos to $1 currently). I had some for 500 pesos(about $20 at the time). I find the "new to the biz" types easier than the old pros, although you have to know at least a little Spanish to get them. As in most other places, the more English the girl knows, the longer she has been in the business and the deeper she will want to reach into your pocket. My last trip I made a date with a waitress in one of the bar/restaurants and she stayed the night and didn't ask for any money. I gave her $20 for "cabfare" but it was more like a girlfriend and she was very enthusiastic and a lot of fun. I saw her for a couple of nights after that and it was always a great time, she was game for anything, bj,69,any position,condoms optional.

There are also some massage places up the hill from the strip that have nicer girls. The massage isn't much but the other service can be Ok if you don't mind doing the deed in a room while other clients wait seperated by paper thin walls. Not my scene but,my friend had a beautiful slim white 25 year old with a great body for $25 and was very happy.

I made a short trip to BC last fall, a few short comments on that, then some more current news. I stayed at the CostaLunga for most of my trip, nice place, good pool, chica friendly, and cheap at $35us per night. At night, they closed off Duarte for foot traffic, and there were lots of chicas, but the scene is mostly for the younger types, and I'm a little older. During the day I stayed at the beach, usually hanging at the Playa Vista, and there was no shortage of chicas on the stroll, a glance would bring them to my table. They would initially quote high gringo prices of 1500 pesos or $50us, but with a minimim of negotiation, I paid between $500 to $1000p (for one 18yo stunner). Like most if not all Latin countries, they do not respect you if you give in to easily or don't attempt to negotiate. Learning Spanish is advisable unless you want to pay higher prices for the ones who speak English. I pulled one bartender/waitress from my hotel after flirting for an hour or so in the restaurant, who stayed all night, and never asked for a cent, so I gave her 500p "cabfare" as a regalito. One of the local expats told me she is married, but it doesn't seem to matter there. There are plenty of expats from all sorts of countries who can clue you in on the scene if you befriend them. I never visited any of the numerous massage places so I can't comment. The motoconchos were charging 30-40 pesos for anywhere in town. The drinks and Presidente's are cheap everywhere you go, but I can't remember the exact prices. The food is not cheap. The restaurants all raised they're prices when the peso went up to 50 to 1, and the prices stayed there when the peso came back down (currently 28 to 1).

More recently, I've been reading on another board that the politur have shut down Duarte at night, and they have been raiding the massage joints. All of the discos and bars have been closed except for 1 new one called Burbujajas. They have generally been hassling any single women alone, and shaking them down for bribes. They don't seem to be hassling the tourists, just the locals. There is alot of speculation that the all-inclusives are behind the police activity. However there are still chicas strolling the beach during the day, which is my preference anyway. So, I am making a trip to Buenos Aires at the end of the month, and after that I will take a long weekend to BC to see for myself. I will report back on my findings.

All in all, this place is far from one of my favorite destinations. The chicas are not that pretty overall, and there are alot of people that will try to get your money one way or the other. But, it's so close, and relatively cheap, so I will probably continue to visit.

In 2003 I was in Boca Chica getting short-time with some really cute girls for 400 to 500 pesos. I know some bars got closed, but I have a hard time believing the whole place has blown away and all of the working girls have permanently left town. Boca Chica is where Europe comes to party... It's difficult to imagine that nobody from this board has been there in two-and-a-half years as this board suggests. Doesn't anybody here go out and find the road less traveled? Or does everybody just assume the worst when they hear bad news and abandon the place. I'll be there in July and I'll let you know what I find. If anyone else has been there recently, let us know what your results were. If it indeed the NGOs has succeeded in turning Boca Chica into a ghost town (read that family-friendly), every other sex destination in the world is also vulnerable.

Well, I was there about a week before last Xmas...it was kind of weak.

I hanged out for 4 days and then I jetted to Sosua/Cabarete.

There were a few chicas, few ones who were doable but a couple of very doable ones. The beach scene was not all that active. A hell of a lot coked out chicas.

Clubs still open on duarte, I heard the chicas at the discos some were asking for crazy cash.

But I have to say that is was, ultimately, a buyer's market IF you were willing to be very very patient.

I met some dudes from NYC who told me they had been having a great ol time...having wingmen probably helped with the boredom, alas, I was wingmanless.

I went there for 5 days in early Dec 08. I met this older Venezuelan MILF there for a GFE. I stayed at this funky little place snuggled safely behind the "Hamaca" all inclusive resort called Neptunio Refugio. I rented this 2nd floor apartment for $60.00 a night. They serve an adequate breakfast till 9:00AM out back. It was quiet there and I felt safe and I liked the vibe.
We went into Boca Chica most nights for dinner and a few drinks. They close the street to cars at night. There were plenty of working girls walking around looking for action. It was a buyers market from what I could see and it wasn't that busy. I didn't see many single guys out prowling but me and my girl were usually back fucking at our apt before midnight so its possible i didn't get the full picture. I'm confident there would be plenty of action though travelling with a wingman might be a bit safer. Many of the smaller, boutique hotels there are guest friendly but you should inquire first. I paid a bit more for my place but it was well worth it, quiet, safe, night guard on duty stationed below my little balcony, parking right out front for my rental car.

Going back there since now i am in Sosua, kind of disappointment this place, hit and miss and still having a crackdown on "chicas" by the local police.

Before coming over i did check this website that is useless, not updated and if you contact any hotels with this, you won't get an answer; so, save yourself some heartburn. the site is www.bocachicaplaya.com. i was lucky to find the Refugios neptuno hotel and is chica friendly and nice , clean and it has all the comodities you would like to have. my room will for 55 bucks when i get back.
Sosua is not the place it used to be and the girls's crackdown still going on. not good for mongers. so sorry for the girls that want to make an honest buck; as for the ones that steals and screw mongers, fuck them!!!
