Does anybody know anything about this hotel? Is it chica friendly? Thanks.

I am remiss in posting this picture of perhaps the top hotel in Santo Domingo, I stayed there in August.
The hotel is reasonably chica friendly, she signs in at the front desk, they charge an extra 675 pesos (I think--my statement was hard to interpret), and up you go.
It was a very good hotel (for a third world country), with large rooms, king-size beds, hi-speed internet access in every room, and its own generators to power the hotel during the frequent power outages. Excellent full buffet breakfast included.
The front of the hotel apparently hosts various rare birds, that people come specifically to observe. Therefore, I would recommend the other side of the building, from which the Caribbean is visible if you are on an upper floor.

RT here.
My boss and I stopped by the Embajador tonight to play blackjack after dinner.
The casino was not all that crowded or exciting, at least until the two hookers showed up (it then it became exciting for me, anyway). These two girls were outstanding. I had no opportunity to talk to them, sitting next to my boss and all.
They were clearly hookers, no doubt about it. Also they were the only hookers in the place, so it could have been either the start of a trend, or the last gasp of a great place for girls -- I don't know.
But I can report that there were two hot hookers in the casino tonight.

RT here, with an update of my post above.
So there I am, losing at blackjack, when I look over at the Caribbean Poker table, then at the tables in front of the bar area.
"Wow," I think. "RT, these girls are either severely overdressed, or underdressed, depending on your point of view. But they are very inappropriately dressed for this casino," I say to myself.
They had to be hookers. And some of them were cute. And, I was there long enough to see some of them talking to men that they didn't show up with. They were totally not aggressive (see: Jaruaga), but they were clearly unescorted young women loitering about. Some were playing table games; most weren't. There were probably 10 in total.
So there I am, unshaven, dirty from work, and giving all my money to the dealers. I make a mental note to return when I was a better prospect.
I got confirmation as I was leaving. I had reached the podium at the entrance (where the security guy asks you if you have a gun) when I hear, "Hola, mi amor."
So I stop and talk to the forward young lady. She asks my name and where I'm going. I tell her: RT and to sleep. She introduces herself, and asks if I want a chica for company and a massage tonight. When I tell her that I plan on being asleep in 15 minutes, she tells me to take her number and to call her another night. So I did, and I may.
Well, I guess that I can confirm the existence of hookers at the Embajador. It has to be officially tolerated -- the security guy was there when I was leaving, but he disappeared while we were chatting, and it was plainly obvious what was going on.
