In Havana Vieja in an old building on Blvd. Monserrate. This place is tough to find so you might want to give a jinetero(hustler) a buck to show you the place. You must go up some stairs to a fairly small disco floor with a bar outside. Mostly Cubans and some Italian mongers. Place has wall to wall hot mulattas. They will go all night for about $50 but will give you the gringo price of $80-$100 at first. About $1 for beers and $2.50 for mixed drinks. You can buy bottles of rum here for about $15. Might be fun to grab a table and share your bottle with several chicas. They don't make money off of drinks so they don't care how they get drunk. Saw a couple of Aaliya look-a-likes here and many girls had the same body style as Dora/Miriam from AB.
Watch out for pickpocketers and pimps here. If a girl goes to a well-dressed Haitian-looking (althoug actually Cuban) guy before going home with you, tell her no thanks as she has a pimp and is letting him know the score. I refuse to assist chicas assisted by chulos.

This disco is located on Dragon about 2 blocks southeast of the Capitol building. The cover charge as of December is $5 for tourists. One of the highlights of this bar is the nightly competitions that are held by the DJ. They'll pick people out of the crowd, and love to pick tourists to 'represent' their country. Sandman was picked to go up against two Italian stallions in 3 different competitions - very amusing. Of course, the USA came out on top that night.

The chica selection there is representative of Cuba at large, with a predominantly mulatta crowd. Every time I've been there, it's been high energy and a reasonably good selection. This is definitely more of a 'local' establishment than a tourist trap, which is why I like it.

Located on the third floor of the building is an old drama theatre room that houses 6 pool tables, 4 dominoes tables and some table tennis. Gustavo is one of the managers there and is very hospitable to get you on a table even if there's a line (gratuity appreciated).
