Make sure you purchase your Mexican and Cuban tourist card BEFORE you leave the Mexico airport. Trying to get a Mexican tourist visa card at the Mexico City airport will give you hassles as the place is a zoo. The Cuban officials will not stamp your passport and choose decent looking chicas as they will not hassle you...as a matter of fact they might ask you out for drinks (trust me)

Sometimes they will stamp your passport and sometimes they don't. I've got a passport with page 16 filled with stamps to prove it. You are also just as likely to get a macho hardass immigration officer. Just be cooperative and play the innocent tourist. Speak only when spoken to and speak only in English no matter how fluent your Spanish. If you speak too much Spanish they suspect you may be a Cuban American and will search your bags for dutiable goods.

Blazers,
How many Mexican tourist cards does one need?
One from the US to Mexico city and another one for Havana back to Mexico City?
thanks

Two, the second one you can have filled out ahead of time for your landing into Mexico City.
