I have good & bad news from Santiago de Cuba.

First the bad news: chicas are quite scared of police in SdC right now. Most avoided eye contact with me, no sticking of tongues out either . I was hoping the scene would be better than my last visit last Xmas break, but alas, it was not. There were only a handful of available chicas in Parque Cespedes - Park Delores areas. And the worst: chicas are scared to go to Siboney Beach w tourists, one day, I counted 4 police there, notebooks in hand, scanning the scene!! There are still pro/semipros on Ave Garzon - Las Americas traffic circle, about as many as before. But the non-pro chicas for the most part were not eye contacting, either in my car or walking on the street. I am hoping that when the tourist season ends, the pros will get off the street & the normal chicas will be interested again. As little as 10 months ago SdC was a chica paradise where all you needed to be doing is breathing & the women would practically mob you & fight over you to fuck them silly.

The good news: the girls are still as hot, sweet & accommodating as ever, GFEs are available, but you may need a little more patience & determination.

Hello John. All this sneaking around. And who can blame the poor chicas, two (or three) strikes and the poor chicas are sent to dig produce in the farm - wearing their undies no less.

There's always jealousy and paid informers to spy on all the neighbours, the chicas and us, the turistos.

I'd prefer not to go through the pimps/touts unless I absolutely have to - sometimes they DO have a treasure trove of info.

Sometimes I like to drop hints to the targetted "shy" chica on the street - to follow me (or I her) at 20 (or 100) paces later. They DEFINITELY are available.

As soon as there is some Jessie Ventura visit or Jimmy Carter visit, then you and I and everyone else has to put up with policia doing their local cleanup sweep.

I was in Santiago just this July
it really was free for all as I remembered back in 98 how ever there are new rules for casas
"that being" 1 foriegner + 1 chica = per casa stay
so if one wants to slut around with diferent chica every night then they'll have to change casa's at the same time. they are a few clandistine casa's that are out of CDR view but they are hard to find & when you do you just might find that some italian football team has booked it out for a week of frolicking.

That photo in your post--what park is it and can one normally expect to find chicas to pick up there? Going rate? I'll be in Santiago for new year's and will report back.

the law in santiago permits you one girl by casa; but if you speak spanish you can find legal house that will make arrangements

I forgot to post this report in Feb., which was an account of my mongering in Santiago in Jan. of 2004.
See my report on my Havana trip to understand the circumstances of my mongering, since they were the same in Santiago, where I stayed for 5 days. Again, the best bet during the day is the Parque Cespedes where the same modus operandi applies as I mentioned in my Havana comments. You will also find girls, particularly later in the day, on the streets leading out from the Parque in a direction away from the port. Never paid more than $20 (usually not even discussed until it was time to part), and again we had to hunt for rooms, which ran from $12 to $20. Here, as in Havana, most of the girls I encountered were dark-complexioned to mulatta.
