Roadkill is one of my favorite things about Havana. As I've said before, there is no other city in the world where a guy can be driving along in his car, pick up a girl looking for a ride, and be balls deep 30 minutes later. During daylight hours, this is my favorite way to meet non-pro chicas.

At night roadkill is very different. Once darkness falls, only pro's lurk in the shadows of Havana's streets. If you know this going in it can make for a fun evening. A couple guys drive around, pick-up some roadkill and viola, instant party. Here are some pics of a fun night of roadkill enjoyed by myself, El Gordon (formerly travelal), and a cuban buddy of mine.

We ran down these chicas on Prado near Parque Centrale where the police presence that night was oppressive. It made for a funny moment when the little mulatta in the headscarf had to literally dive in the rear window so we could make a hasty getaway.

With roadkill pro's like these you have to be very careful. Sure enough the Curly haired one, who called herself Shakira, ripped me off for a cigarette lighter and a couple thong panties. That's about par for the course, and is why I generally avoid hardened pro roadkill. But like I say, every once in a while, it's fun for a party. I paid mine, Shakira, $20. I don't know what ElGordon paid.

The thing that really pissed me off was when we found out a couple days later that Shakira and the one with the headscarf were lesbian lovers and never let on to us. Now that would have been some memorable roadkill.

Anyway, I'm posting these so you guys can see what a typical roadkill party looks like:
