I've always wanted to check-out the DR. I fucked a few DR chicas in Panama. As I recall I fucked them a few years back, but they were enjoyable. But, lately there hasn't been much work coming from anyone regarding the DR. I don't think anyone posted anything about the DR yet in 2009. Did something happen to shut this island country down?

Specifically, I would like to hear from someone who has mongered in other locations and also the DR so I can get some perspectives.

I have a few questions:

1). Do they use US money in the DR or do I need to exchange?
2). Can I fly into the DR using my US passport, then buy a tourist Visa, or do I need to buy a Visa in advance?
3). What are the best cities in the DR to monger? (South or North end of island).
4). Is prostitution legal in the DR like it is in Panama (licensed hookers in MPs or escorts)?
5). What is the crime rate against gringos like in DR?
6). What is the best way to get around in DR...bus, taxi, rental car?
7). What is a reasonable price for a 1-hour session? Will the chicas negotiate?
8). Anybody who has been to DR recently have any lessons learned for us?

I'm curious why we haven't heard much from the DR lately?

AJ, thanks again for responding to my "Quarry Heights" post in Panama. I spent 6 months in the DR living in Santo Do and went last year to the Sosua area for a solo recon mission for 5 days. I'm thinking of going again late Nov early Dec 09 with 2 of my Panama travel buddies.
1) You should exchange but gringo money is fairly commonly accepted at many places and by almost all the girls. There are cambios everywhere. Banco Popular ATM's seem to work the best
2)No visa needed. Just pay the $10 USD fee for a 90 day tourist visa and you are all set. They love the U.S
3)The capitol city, Santo Domingo, followed by nearby Boca Chica, and I would say Sosua/Puerto Plata that has a good, yet small and highly efficient airport Each area has certain advantages.
4) You know, I think its illegal but not at all enforced. Do make sure your girl is over 18 and has a "cedula" or national ID card to prove it.
5) Keep your wits, stay in public places with lots of people around, (I know you go solo), spend a bit more for your safety, it will be worth it. At least a walled/gated place with a night guard.
6) Proper taxis for short stays, renting a car is better for longer stays. Get the FULL insurance. Rush hour traffic in the cities is sick but once you get out you practically own the highways.
7) They will negotiate. They try for around $100. Just tell them no and offer $50. If she hesitates, move on. The population here is 20% white, 60% brown, and 20% black according to their govt stats. Most are brown. The lighter your skin color the more likely the higher your econmic status as a general rule.

I've been there 5 times between 2001 and 2004. The good years of this country are behind, because it is basically too expensive and few interesting ladies. Attitude is generally an issue as well. The competition from Colombia and Cuba is strong...

I posted this thread after searching the DR TreeView and I didn't find anything dated in the year 2009. Therefore, I asked the question..."Nobody goes to the DR?" The next day or so Deeg posted a real nice report on the DR with pics of sisters (both with very nice nipples). One or both were only a few months pregnant...and since they couldn't get anymore pregnant...Deeg dumped a load in them to make a nice "natural" sister creampie (Thanks Deeg!)

Although I have never been to the DR, I want to go just so I can check-it-off my to-do list. I don't care if it is not the same as it was 5 or 10-years ago...I'll make it work. And according to Deeg, he was negotiating fucks for around $40-$50 a pop recently (I find that very reasonable). If it is more, I am usually a pretty good negotiator.

I don't believe that I cannot have a good time in the DR (finding jewels in the rough) if I apply myself properly.
