Incredible that this place doesn't yet have its own thread. I was staying right next store in a small chica friendly place called Casa Valeria when I stumbled into this place. Almost reminded me of BlackBeards a bit though much less structured. Tons of Bitches just hanging out right in front of the bar they have. Turns out they just built a new addition so my 2 wingmen and I received a nice tour of the rooms. Small but clean with that new feeling to them. Basically its just a bang palace. Good place to stop into during the day if your bored or just want a quick bang before the night stalkers swoop into town on the main drag. I'm sure you can take out any Bitches you want to wherever you're staying.
I'll be there on 12/29 hanging out at Lou's place, the New York Shark Bar, eating dinner at Baileys, and stalking in Club 59 later that night. You know, the usual stuff.

Can you describe the location of this place with a bit more detail please?

And what is the cost of the rooms?

Just got back from a weekend trip from Sosua and stayed at the New Garden Hotel. There are three different types of rooms - the old wing, new wing room, and new wing room with jacuzzi. The $55.00 price quoted on the website is for the old wing. I decided to go for the new wing (when presented with an option of old and new, I will usually pick new :-), which cost $65.00. The hotel is located very close to all the action and my room was comfortable. Large King Size bed, big room and bathroom. The Wifi was so so, as the signal is coming from the front office and was a little far off. I could only get a signal on the terrace.

Taking a girl back with you requires her to leave her ID with the security guard, but overall a very low hassle factor.

Would recommend this place....not exactly a Hilton, but nice enough.

For those who don't realize, our man LM has to leave RIO DE JANEIRO to take these little trips to Sosua. Apparently one can actually get tired of banging the hottest women in our hemisphere?

Reminds me of a line from The Book of Eli:

Young woman Mila Kunis to Older Eli: "What was it like before the war?"

Eli: "People had more than they needed. Today we fight for the things they just threw away"

Heavy sigh....

hehe....well, kind of! I have to travel to the US on a regular basis for my work. When I travel I usually stay for a few more days to hang out with buddies or for little side trips (like Sosua). Keep in mind, in Rio I am at home - with it comes the watching eyes of neighboors, friends, and people I really rather not have me seen in delicate mongering situations. When I travel overseas I can relax and just do what I want - I do not have to worry about being seen in public or the wrong person walking by at the wrong time that will get me in trouble. Rio as big as it is, is actually quite small - Especially if you live in Ipanema or Leblon.

I like the DR routine, as it is so close and easy - 1 1/2 direct from Miami. It is cheap, plus besides the mongering, I really like the beach scene. The first night - out of two - I was in Sousa I actually just got wasted and did not take anybody to the hotel. I just crashed, slept late, had a big breakfast, then went to the beach and starting drinking again!

Rio is certainly 100X better from a women perspective, but unfortunately my current state of living in Rio is quite domestic (actually, it is a good thing for me at this point) - this limits the mongering opportunities.....Plus taking a girl back to the Lido for a quick 1-2 hour bang is just not the same as having one hang out the entire evening and night. Waking up, etc, etc... that is pretty much impossible for me now in Rio.

You can live in Paradise - like Rio - but eventually as you settle down with someone - life of course changes.

Fellow members, first of all, I thank you all for the info that you're providing.

I will be going to Brazil, Colombia and DR(Sosua) in June but will be in South East Asia in April and May.

I will keep reading as much info that is posted from you all and others to better prepare me for my up coming trips.

LM, you made a valid point when you said, "You can live in Paradise - like Rio - but eventually as you settle down with someone - life of course changes"

I have researched as to where I would go in DR since there are a few different locations but Sosua is one that I will definitely be going to in June. I read alot of good things about La Passion and other hot spots. I speak fluent spanish which I know that will help alot.

If anyone is going to be in Sosua in June and wouldn't mind showing me the ropes send me a PM.

On my recent stay here I paid $120 USD or 4500 DOP for two nights in the old wing. Breakfast was included and was well prepared.

Some ladies hang out here, but I didn't see any that I would consider taking.

If you want to meet other hobbyists, this is probably the best place to stay.
