Anyone ever stayed at the Barcelo Lina? Just wondering if its visitor friendly?

I know Hotel Palacio is friendly and quite convenient.

I stayed at the Barcelo Lina in February and found that they charge a $39/night 'guest' fee. What's worse is the attitude the security guys will give you when you bring a guest to the hotel. Terrible!
