The founder and former owner of the legit TJ massage parlor, VivaMex, has now opened the first true "rub and tug" in TJ.

Here's the basic basics: It's located along the Art. 123 pedestrian walk from the border to Revo...a couple of blocks east of Revo on the north side of the street. The idea is to provide what TJ has not had before other than a few outlaw masseuses who worked in Azteca Massage years ago, that is combining a true therapeutic swedish style massage with sensuality, tease, and as the clinical term goes, a "manual release". You will rarely if ever obtain a skilled massage in the numerous brothel MPs of TJ, and you will rarely if ever obtain a manual release in the legitimate MPs of TJ. So if that's a mixed recipe you want your masseuse to cook, Both Worlds is the place.

I finally made my first visit on a Saturday afternoon two weeks ago. It turned out better than I expected, but that was mainly because there was an adorable young chica available to provide the services and she did a decent job all around. Her name is Guadalupe - a 20 year old spinner (approx.) with a cute face, excellent English (how'd that happen?), says she's in TJ for two years out of Cuernavaca. A little shy at first but she turned very sweet as I engaged her gradually throughout the one hour session.

Over many years I've had hundreds of massages at Azteca and a few at Vivamex, and her abilities were in line from what I expect at those places. I also get regular serious therapeutic massages in the L.A. area - not Swedish but Shiatsu and Acupressure. I get those from highly trained and experienced professionals. So I wouldn't say that anything you would get in a TJ MP matches up with the massage school trained masseuses in L.A., but Swedish is a more enjoyable experience and has its therapeutic benefits to be sure, and Lupe did just fine with it. I expected and would have preferred MUCH more sensuality and teasing than she provided, but as stated I think she was being shy and careful with a new customer and I will expect more of the lead in to the happy ending the next time. When she did get around to the HE, she was good, but less than expert. But she followed directions from this expert receiver, and I departed more than happy enough.

When I arrived in mid-afternoon the entire staff was sharing some que rico takeout from one of the numerous restaurants along that stretch. I didn't want to interrupt their lunch so I just took a seat in the pleasant waiting room and waited awhile. There were two masseuses other than Lupe. I did not get their names. One was mid-20's and not unattractive, but half as bonita as Lupe. The other was older and matronly - looked like she could deliver "Lola the Crusher" massages. I have to say that given the presence of the "2nd World" at this place, I would not have been happy if one as fair as Lupe had not been available. So I'm hoping the owner will be able to hire and train some additional BONITAS. I will be very happy to assist in the training.

I visited this space with mi amigo Bosco when it first opened as a legit massage place a couple of years ago (and before it reportedly became a gay massage place for a brief time), and it was a dump. I can say that the owner has spruced it up considerably with some very interesting decorative touches (or were those contributed by the former gay staff?). Obviously they need to work on the bathroom and shower facilities, but overall it is a very pleasant atmosphere.

Btw, the music pumped into the room was freaking incredibly great! Unfortunately I became brain numb once Lupe released the leche, and I forgot to ask what I was listening too. Thunder and heavy rain effects over a drunk and drowsy exquisite saxophone - it builds into something like a big budget film soundtrack, and then recedes back into the lonely sax playing in the storm. A head full of mota would not be a bad preparation for a visit to Both Worlds.

Finally, the pricing. Yeah it is too much at $69 for the option I chose (there are cheaper options sin Happy Ending), and yeah I felt compelled to give the chica a $10 tip at the end and felt embarrassed and cheap that it wasn't more - though she didn't ask for a tip and certainly accepted it gracefully. But getting up to $80 for this service is in fact too much to charge the jaded codos coming down from California. I don't see how this price can be sustained. Personally I will pay it though I may go less often than I would if the price is lower. I go to rub and tugs in California for the best of both worlds regularly, and usually pay $100-120 tip included for the service ($45-60 to the house for an hour session and $40-50 tip). So if I'm in TJ instead of mi casa, I don't have a practical problem paying up to $40 less for a more enjoyable experience overall because it is hard to find Swedish practitioners in the L.A. places. It just comes down to one's personal priorities and there are few things in this world that bring me more pleasure than a good sensual rub with the tension ultimately released at the end. But I don't think the overall market of massage mongers will look at it the same way.

Finally, the place is closing at 8PM which means last call for an hour session at 7PM.
