I'm ready for a different experience than what TJ offers.Which would be an better alternative BK or CR.And why?Any tips etc. that anyone can share would be great.Thanks!

Last March, I spent 2 1/2 weeks in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket. I had an OUTSTANDING time! A pickpocket lifted my wallet while in a disco in Phuket, but other than that I felt very safe at all times of the day and night. The girls were plentiful and pretty. The in-country expenses (hotel, transportation, "entertainment", etc.) were inexpensive.
In about 6 weeks, I'll be heading to Costa Rica for 2 1/2 weeks for my first visit. From what I've read and heard from others who have been to Thailand and Costa Rica, Thailand wins as the destination of choice, but I'll give you my first hand impression of Costa Rica after December 1.
Costa Rica is closer to the USA and if you know any Spanish it's easier to communicate with the ladies. The Thai language is tough to learn or speak, but I didn't find the language barrier a big hurdle in Thailand. I just passed around an English-Thai dictionary whenever communication became a problem.
One of my favorite pleasure in Thailand was getting a full-body soapy massage. I still have wet dreams about it whenever I recall a session with one young lady at Sabailand Massage Parlor in Pattaya. MMmmmmm. . . heaven on earth.

DZ - I have been pondering this question now for a few days.. To me it's a hard comparison... I am returning Thailand for one thing the ladies... Costa Rica on the other hand has a lot of things I like to do besides our little hobby, additionally I have found it pretty easy to hook up with non working girls there.... to me its really what you want to do on your trip. I guess I can sum it up like this
mad,wild, freeaky deeky,inexpensive SEX -Thailand
beautiful country, lots of outdoor activities, proud courteous hosts, and some hot Chicas - Costa Rica
either way your going to have a blast....

Just wondering if the big expense of the BKK flight and the recovery from the flight takes away from the experience over there...

Indy,
In my experience, the trip is no big deal. If you follow some of the tips posted, and/or travel 'well', the trip should not detract from your enjoyment.
That said, if you do not travel 'well', or if you are one of those few people who simply can not sleep on a plane, the trip might cause you to loose a day to 'recovery'.

Dzonaguy, I have not been to Costa Rica yet. But I have een to sveral other venues and Thailand take the cake so far. Keeping in mind that I sincerly love latina women; I would return to Thailand anytime the oppurtunity presents itself.
The 'Land of Smiles' = non stop cheap sex with pretty petite asian women (or a few)

I've done Thailand six times since '99, and will return maybe once or twice more. My maiden voyage into TJ will come tomorrow. I can tell you the sex in Thailand is unrushed, and the girls are slower in everything they do leading up to sex (mutual shower, etc.). From what I hear, TJ sex is rushed, which if true isn't going to serve me well, as I am used to taking my sweet f*cking time with a girl. If anyone wants a report on Thailand, Bangkok, Pattaya and a little bit of Cambodia specifically, email me and I will be happy to post one. I also have links to comprehensive reports on Thailand that take days to read.
Flying SEA to BKK, I always catch the 1-stop, no-layover UAA 777. Any other airline flies the older 747s or MD-11s with tiny seats that get REAL uncomfortable after 18 hours.
So far, BKK takes the prize, no contest. However, $500 for two days in TJ is ALOT easier to swallow than $2000 in BKK for a week. Champagne taste, beer budget...
I will follow this up with my TJ newbie report, and do my best to compare the chicas to the BKK babes.
