There was a litle cutie there about 2 weeks ago named Lucille. Young, flaca, very long brown hair. She was wearing jeans and a black halter-type top and was dancing allot. She spoke very little English but when I had a polaroid taken (which she kept), her beauty in the photo (she had let her hair down) was astounding. I set something up with her for later but got shangaied by a CC chica and never made it back.

I usually went to Miami real late, maybe i should go there a little earlie and see what talents they have, i did notice a few of the Miami girls working at La Tropa, interesting stuff

I still have great hopes for Miami Club, it has a great layout and I find the waiters and bartenders friendly enough and not as pushy as the Tropical servers can be. One of the best waiters there is a skinny guy with long hair, speaks very good English and seems pretty straightforward...anyways whenever I see him I always make suggestions...the main one being they need to get better girls (and more) and the other suggestion I often make is they should offer the one ticket drink as an option like LC and CC do. To his credit he does discuss these things with the manager/bartender guy, in fact last Friday he actually brought him over in hopes of letting me buy the chica sitting with me a one fischa drink..didn't happen but I appreciated the effort.

Rather than just pass this place over or bop in and out I think if more of us made noise they'd improve the club a little and we'd have a nice option to AB/CC, especially on Fri and Sat nights when it's almost impossible to hang at the two main clubs.

One more sorta funny thing happened last Friday night, I was at a table with Shorts and Billypv was at a table with Hippie and What3ver. The skinny waiter guy brought over a styrofoam "tray" with a bunch of sliced jicama on it, great stuff..sweet like a fruit but I believe it's more of a tuber like a potato. Shorts, the chica sitting with Shorts and I dove right in but the other 3 guys wouldn't have anything to do with it! Looked a little weird I guess...but hey I survived. At first I thought the skinny waiter (anyone know his name? I hate when I do that!) was pulling a fruit plate scam ala Tropical, but he said it was "on him" or something cuz he felt bad about having to charge me for a two fischa drink.

Hey Redongdo, I kick myself for not trying the fruit! It actually look like cooked sliced potatoes with seasoning on it. Hell, I'm always up for something new, so next time I'll give it a try. Trust me, I love fruit! I've now got another "buddy", he's the kid with the fruit cart in the street in front of Tropical. All during the day and early evening I'd keep visiting him and damn near bought out all his watermelon!

I think it's actually in the potato family but it's really sweet...more like an apple in texture..a little tougher and fibrous maybe. Probably even good for you!

I saw your other post about the burgers from the cart in front of CC. In front of Tropical is another cart manned by Abraham...really cool guy that speaks good English and can tell you who else is around that night. His burgers, fries and hot dogs are right up there too.

For the guys who stay around Miami Bar, are there any decent women left at Miami, Can you give me some names and description, I was there last weekend and i didn;t see one girl that turned my head, any information would be appreciated

Billy, I am the king of eating on the run in TJ. There are many carts all over the zona which I recommend. Burgers are best in front of CC and Trop. There is a great cart right before the alley as well. There is a great fries place on Niños Heroes. Great tacos are at Primo Taco including the suadero tacos. All my detailed reviews are on my site.

Luna is back at Miami - I saw her Sunday afternoon looking really hot. I was going to take her upstairs, but she asked for $100 and only came down to $80. By next weekend, I suspect she will have realized that she can no longer command HK prices, and/or have moved on to CC or AB.

Back to the Miami quandary, it's a real Catch-22 situation. When I made my recommendation to the Long haired waiter (gotta get his name) he said the problem with getting more/higher quality girls was when they check the place out there are few customers. Of course when the customers check the place out there are few girls. So there ya go. There are so many advantages to Miami, one of the main of course is the hotel they use, Cascadas is probably one of the best of the Zona dive hotels...certainly superior to Hotel Coahuila and the CC hotel. At Cascadas we also have one of the more "open door" policies that allows us to bring girls from several different clubs as well as street girls. When you pop into Miami for a quick beer, instead of heading out to one of the other clubs...at least let it be known what it would take for them to get more of your biz. I think the layout of the club is one of the best, you can cruise and do laps like at AB...sit in a "higher profile" area around the stage/dance floor or sit in a more private location where the music isn't so deafening. Plus you have two complete bars. Just tell 'em you like the bar (I always open up a suggestion with a compliment) but they need more/nicer girls and the option of one fisha drinks.

Had a GREAT time in the ol' Miami over the weekend with a girl who will remain unnamed 'cause she's too good to share even with my brothers! Yeah, I see what you're sayin', but I mentioned it basically just to put a plug in for the bar (which don't get talked about all that much here, and should get more attention from our fellow mongers IMO)--everybody's usually so busy talkin' 'bout AB and CC that Miami gets little play, and I think this limits the opportunities newbies have to see what's hot and what's not down there. Plus, I just love that bar, as you apparently do too. Great waiters, great music, great chicas, great atmosphere. It is one of my favorite clubs in TJ. And anyway, there's enough hotties in Miami that I'm not all that worried about sparking a gringo run on my new favorita--moreover, she speaks zero English, so it's gonna take the rare gringo fellow monger to search her out and get her to the place Brother Ritmo had her in the other weekend! i stay away from adelitas and cc bar .

Does the Miami club have anything like a "Hottie Central?" What about pricing? Are they cheaper than AB or CC?

Don't know about an HC equivalent, but it always seems to me that the best lookers at Miami under the current conditions (conditions have been "fluid" since the demise of HK), tend to station themselves in the most inaccessible location - right at the bar...just as the CC ice princesses used to accumulate in the alcove (conditions are fluid at CC right now too)..out of the sight lines for most in the club. HC at AB is just the opposite of course - it's the most effective market stall in the club.

On my last few trips down to TJ and into Miami, the best looking chicas by far have all been on the dance floor just enjoying themselves. On my last venture into there, there was a real young cutie just dancing away with a (seemingly) local and after working up a nice light sheen of sweat, she just sat down by herself (at the far end of the bar close to the banos). I couldn't believe my luck and immediately approached her for some company.

Went to Miami Bar on Friday evening 12/29/00. Usually I just cruise through, but this time Mr. Shadow and I decided to take a seat to see what develops. ok, i was there on the 14th, real busy, i danced with a couple of girls, they were really nice, very attractive, young, different types...real cool place..Tip a chica a buck for a dance...Now.....how does the extras work? That's the way it is at Miami, some girls do, some don't. Some of the waiters will be happy to help you identify the sex workers in the group - they know which chicas go upstairs. My personal experience is that the girls who dance constantly with customers generally do not go upstairs "at large" (they may have a regular or two who they accomodate) - they are primarily making their living from dollar dances and fechas. Some of the chicas who decline if you ask them right off the mark, may say yes after you buy them a drink or two and get to know you - but don't let them drain your wallet buying drinks all night and dangling fuzzy promises to go later. If you are anxious to get upstairs, cut out early in the game and move on to the next candidate...or just move on to AB where every girl is a sure thing. Sometimes, it's just too much work and uncertainty when you step off the gringo trail.

Miami chicas use the Cascadas Hotel next door, and prices are negotiable within the same general range as the other zona clubs ($30-50). Btw, if you plan to do multiple chicas out of Miami and/or Las Chevales, get your own room at Cascadas - you will save money and you won't get a knock in 30 minutes or less.

I get a bad vibe from Miami lately, as if many of the chicas are connected to guys living off the drug trade. Maybe its the expensive leather jackets that some of the chicas wear.

"lately?" Shit, man, I'd say at least 75% of the chicks in the ZN bars are either connected, or would like to be connected. In some bars it is close to %100(Chavelas, Pelicano) - in others it is more like 50%. Remember, there are no "good girls" in the ZN.

But anyways........yep I think the presence is a lot stronger than the guys here want to admit...even the "good" girls...I've been "surprised" more than once by a girl pulling out a glass pipe and either offering to share or asking me to contribute (more common). The club with the lowest percentage is probably AB, where the figure might be closer to that 50% guess, and why I always seem to find myself back there.

All the chicas who have infiltrated AB over the last year from HK and CC have probably raised the percentages in that place - my guess is they've probably spread their chemical good cheer to many of their previously pristine coworkers. My guess is also around 50%...but would have been much lower a couple of years ago. I assumed the same migratory patterns had reduced drug presence at Miami.

Diego, btw, since you mentioned El Pelicano - have you been back there recently? I had a couple of good times there a few months ago - then the talent just dried up (plus stories of a bust related to the on-premises sex operation). Any recovery here recently, or does it still suck?
