I started out early Sunday(like 10am). I knew I wouldn't be able to check into a hotel yet, but I stopped by Zaragoza to give it a shot anyway. The guy at the desk(I forget his name) was cool and let me leave me bag in the office, and use a safe until I was able to check in.
I walked down to the Zona and felt quite uncomfortable. I don't know what it was but I got a vibe that something was going to go wrong. I was walking east in street-girl ally and noticed I was being followed by a pair of Tijuana's finest. With the vibe I was feeling I figured I had better just scurry on over to in front of the police substation on Constitution. I noticed that the policia turned back into the ally. I just figured that in front of the substation they would far less likely to try and pull some shit on me, but who knows if they were going to fuck with me or not.
After my trip to the substation I figured I'd just go to the Adelita Bar and test a couple beers. The beers were ok, but a little on the warm side. Patricia came and chatted with me for a bit. Of course she asked me if I wanted to go to the room. I told her that I wasn't even in my hotel yet and would really like to take a shower first. She offered to take a shower with me, but I'm just not interest in her. I just like to chat with her.
When the masero stopped by to try and get me to buy her a drink I declined and told Patricia that I just wanted to relax for a little bit. Even though she didn't get a drink out of me I told her I appreciated her time and tipped her $5. I explained that I just don't like to waste $8 on a drink that she only gets $3.50 for. She agreed and told me she likes the way I don't better anyways.
In our conversation she asked me how old I was. I told her "I'm an old man, 30". She said "that's not that old, I'm 28". I tried not to give that you're full of shit look, but I know when somebody is older than me, and she has to be a least 34.
After checking into Zaragoza and taking a nap and a shower I went down to Tropical. I saw another Character of the Zona. This was a guy walking around in typical cowboy-ware. Plad shirt, white hat, and a huge ass belt-buckle. The thing that was a little strange about this guy was that he was also carrying a lasso. It's always refreshing when I see somebody who is a bigger weirdo than me.
I was back in Adelita bar and was talking to Candi. She asked me to take her up along with a chica that she claims to be her sister. They do look similar, but I just don't think they are related. Anyway I had to turn them down. Candi wasn't on my list for that day. Besides I'm not really into three-sums.
Later that night I went to La Tropa. I was talking to this chica(I can't remember her name) in the bar that looked like she had a pretty good body. Nice and thin, small tits covered by one of the bras that feel like cardboard. In the bar she was DFK'n me so I figured I had better give her a shot.
When we got to the room she turned on the TV and started to disrobe. What I thought was a nice body in the bar turned out to be a train wreck. I don't know how she does it, but she successfully pulls off being thin and flabby at the same time. From now on I need to see mid-drift on a chica before I take them up.
She wanted me to eat her pussy, but she wouldn't let me finger her. Don't the two go hand in hand. I normally don't eat out putas so I just gave he some Tootsie Pop licks. Thank God I didn't get too into it because after a couple minutes of licking her clit she exploded. I've never seen a girl gush like that before.
Back in the Adelita Bar I noticed a chica I had done on a previous trip. "Ho-ly shit! I fucked that" I thought to myself. At the time I took her up I considered her a third tier chica, but upon a more sober inspection this chica looked more like 20 pounds of shit in a 10 pound bag. Thank God nobody saw me take her up. She's definitely lower than third tier.
After the Zona I stopped by a bar close to Hotel Zaragoza. Yaridas(or something like that). I couldn't believe the chica to hombre ratio. I was talking to this one chica, we complimented each other on our fresh buzz-cuts. This bar is great for you guys that like chicas that ware flannel.
The next day I checked out of Zaragoza to get a room at Casadas. While walking to the Zona I noticed a place that had many chicas in school-girl uniforms. I think the place was called Sindicado de Alma Rojo. Anyway, I wouldn't advise going there because all the chicas look underage.
This day my plan was to monger hard until about 8pm then go take a nap. I did a tour of a lot of the smaller Zona Bars. Damn, all those 2x1's. I have no idea how many beers I had. Many of these bars are great places to kick back and tip a few beers without being hassled. I didn't even hear "kill whitey" a single time.
After doing some chicas in my regular routine I retreated to Casadas for a nap. On the way back across the border I tried to notice the added personnel at the Point of Entry. It looked like there were less people working there than ever. Only two car lanes open, and two lanes inside. Crossing took just a few minutes by foot.
All in all it was a nice little day and a half trip. I even saw a coworker of mine down there that had no idea I was a monger too. He tells me "Just don't tell anyone". I promised I wouldn't. Oops, I guess I just told you guys. Damn, I'm such a bastard.

Snapper daid:
"I started out early Sunday(like 10am)."
Right after church, huh?
"I walked down to the Zona and felt quite uncomfortable. I don't know what it was but I got a vibe that something was going to go wrong."
It wasn't closed, was it? Oh wait, that was Dogsters excuse.
In our conversation she asked me how old I was. I told her "I'm an old man, 30".
Is that in monger years?
This was a guy walking around in typical cowboy-ware. Plad shirt, white hat, and a huge ass belt-buckle.
But did you like my boots? And those ass belt buckles are hard to find in my huge ass size.
It's always refreshing when I see somebody who is a bigger weirdo than me.
That's all it takes to be weirder than you?
I can't remember her name in the bar that looked like she had a pretty good body.
At La Tropa? Just call her SP.
small tits covered by one of the bras that feel like cardboard.
It's usually a warning sign when they have to make their bra out of cardboard.
I've never seen a girl gush like that before.
Try giving her diamonds.
"Ho-ly shit! I fucked that" I thought to myself.
Many chicas say that when they see me the second time.
Thank God nobody saw me take her up.
Film at 11.
Anyway, I wouldn't advise going there because all the chicas look underage.
Don't tell Ben. Ben? BEN! COME BACK HERE!
This day my plan was to monger hard until about 8pm
When mongering, it does help to be hard.
I didn't even hear "kill whitey" a single time.
According to Tomas, after an even dozen beers your hearing gets considerably more selective.
It looked like there were less people working there than ever.
It's part of their new stealth program. Your tax dollars at work.
Damn, I'm such a bastard.
Who am I to disagree with an expert?

Congratulations on your first X-report. What is the deal with the Hotel Zara-bozo? I think it is waay overrated.

Zaragoza isn't anything special. It's comfortable and to American standards. I favor this place solely for the use of the safe, and the fact they haven't ever done anything to drive my business elsewhere.

I've been staying at VZ from day one. I'm a Seattle guy who drives down to SeaKayak in Baja several times each winter for quite awhile now and I always over night in TJ. I like the parking situation at VZ and the fact that I can get away from the noise of Rev and the Zona, yet still be so close.
However ... about a week after I got back from a trip last month VISA called me up and said that somebody who didn't know my mother's maiden name was trying to make a 39 Peso purchase at Sanborn's without the card (just the card #). I want to know which Asshole is trying to stiff me for lunch! I've talked via e-mail with Rey Nelson and still will use the VZ, but my confidence in the place has been shattered. Cash Only from now on.
PS ... I was under the impression that "Yaridas Bar" was a dyke hang out.

These type of situations are done by isolated employees. The only thing that could reflect upon the management is there willingness to address the problem.
A good rule of thumb is not to use credit card ANYWHERE in Mexico.
By Curious on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 - 12:48 pm: Edit |
So far management has FAILED to address this problem. I know several guys who have had credit card problems as a result of staying at the Villa Z. One ONLY used the card there - nowhere else, even in the US.
These are guys who stay there often, and have talked to management about the problem, but it has not stopped.
This is only one of several reasons I stopped staying there.
The final brick that broke the camels back was one night when they INSISTED they didn't have anything except a "special" $75 "suite" available. It was late, and I had a chica waiting in the cab, so I took it. Next day found out they had lots of empty rooms.
I moved to staying at the Real del Rio. Never had a problem, used my credit card, underground parking, nicer rooms, and $65 a night.

Keep using your credit card at Real del Real and someday the number will get lifted, guaranteed.
From what I heard this only happened for a couple weeks months ago, Unlike Traveloge in Say Ysidro where it was happening for the better part of a year.
Just remember if this happens to you, dispute any fraudulent charges made on your credit card. It's their responsibility to prevent fraud, not yours.

Curious
I stayed the other night there and they only had 55 dollar room and even charged me the 5 fucks for an extra person
Sometimes i get away without paying the extra 5 fucks and sometimes not
I do know people that had the credit card fiasco happen and it still may not be directly there fault. It could be lots of different things.
I do know that recently they keep saying they only have more of the expensive rooms available. I also know that many locals stay here so it does get packed. I didnt knock on every door asking if it was occupied. One day I will
it still is my preffered place to stay in centro
What are you gonna do ??

They have renovated most of their old rooms to make them "Deluxe Singles". I don't think the remote for the air conditioner and television are worth the extra money.
If they trid to up-sell me into a $75 room I think I would go elsewhere too.
