No problem last year, or in 1998 or 1997 or any other year. They just put on more clothes. Makes it harder to pick the great bodies.

no difference, and the SG's don't put on much more clothes than in summer. i don't know how they do it, i'm freezing but they're trying to sell a product. numbers on street and in clubs about the same, a few travel home for the holidays.

A number of the chicas will go 'home for Christmas', but there will still be a good selection working.

The hotels will not be warm and comfy, so if you have trouble 'performing' in the cold, make note and plan ahead.

Other than that, it's business as usual. Personally, I like winter. True, fewer chicas, but fewer clients too, and I like the balance better.

Have you noticed SG's recently starting to work the clubs like AB and CC? One chica complained competition was fierce so she had to work longer hours with market prices falling. I know that competition is fierce and prices can be low if desired but am not an SG expert.

I'm FAR from an SG expert. I have an on going friendships with two different Street Girls, and of course given Mexican social culture, I'm also 'friends' with 'todo de las amigas de mi amigas', as well. So my circle of 'knowledge' is based on 'knowing' about 12-15 chicas, and talking with them on a fairly regular basis.

That said, I have noticed SGs working the clubs, and the word I've heard is that there are more chicas then normal for this time of year. (i.e. no reduction in numbers from the summer high point) But, there are not as many clients in TJ, which is normal for this time of year.

Several of las chicas have talked about some of their peers hanging around hoping to get club jobs with the new expansions and new clubs coming on line. Again, most of las chicas that I know do have current health cards, and after the big Health Dept sweep a while back, more and more Street Chicas do have that little piece of plastic.

The feeling amongst the chicas I know is that with so many clubs, there will be fewer chicas working in each club, so many of the objections that they have to working the bars are going away, or at least reduced. There are fewer chicas per bar, less dog eat dog competition between chicas, less smoke, more free space in the bar, and most important of all, with so many clubs and so few chicas, the clubs are having to cut down on the rules to keep chicas from bailing and going to another club. (just look at how many CC chicas now work at AB as an example of this) More and more of the 'top end' chicas in the smaller clubs are now working at the bigger clubs, which is creating space in the smaller clubs, as well. Now, please, let me point out that these chicas are NOT talking about AB or CC on a Saturday night, but all those other hours where, as has been reported, it's slowing down and FAR less crowded.

The short answer is, yes, more former SGs are working the clubs because there is more opportunity to do so without las chicas having to deal with as many of the things that they view as the negatives of working in a club.

IMHO, once the expansions start to begin operations (CC expansion, 'new' Hong Kong, new club next to TB), I think we'll see even more of this. Las chicas have got to come from somewhere.
