I'll be out to good old SC and TJ for the first time since the attack next weekend. I was wondering how things were going at SAN. Outbound wait times are my primary concern, including the commuter flights to LAX.

I don't think the wait should be extremely long from SAN to LAX considering the commuter flights board in a different terminal from most of the heavy traffic. I haven't been there since the attack, but am flying in this week, so I will give you my observations then.

American has gotten rid of their red eye to Chicago, which I usally take. This coming weekend I have had 4 itinerary changes.

Yep, American cut 20% of their flights across the board. There were 2 or 3 cancelled commuter flights from LAX to SAN within the 2 1/2 hours that I was there waiting to get on one. The San Diego commuter Terminal looked deserted upon my arrival at about 5 p.m. But even LAX was not that bad for check-ins, all things considered.
