A mex short-time place, $3 or $4, a couple rooms just inside past the check-in, banos right there. Could be worse. Borachos sleep outside. Chicas from Bar Fracaso (sp?), across Calle Primera, use it. I've been there once, or more, its about a par with the one down the alley, across from Miami.

I believe 20 minutes is standard there. ONE bathroom for both sexes is down the hall. Tip the room clerk a buck .....

When they come to like you(r money), they actually do you small services, like let you pay after for extra time, instead of the knock/phone call. and they'll tell you how to find a specific chica.

A new friend from Bar Fracaso and I visited Hotel Colon about Saturday night at 11:30. My change did seem a few pesos light, but there was no knock.

The upstairs rooms are overnighters (& also overflow hooker rooms).

The druggies use these and there are small shards of glass (from light bulbs) all over the floor and the beds.

Cut my foot once, the chica sanitized it with perfume (alcohol).

They've put up a sign that specifically states that the short time rental is for 20 minutes. Previously the sign just referred to a 'rato'.
