I've posted a bad experience or two, here's some more DOs & DON'Ts:

1. WHEN AGE IS QUESTIONABLE, ASK TO SEE THEIR I.F.E. ID CARD. If the legal issues bother you (and they should) say "Quiero ver su IFE" (" key-air'-row bear sue ee'-fay").

2. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER APPEAR ON TELEVISION !!! A friend of mine was in Tijuana the weekend of 10-6 & 10-7. While waiting in the pedestrian line he was interviewed in spanish but told to reply in English. His understanding of spanish is sub-standard. When they asked him what he thought of the recent attack on Afghanistan, he thought they were refering to the attack on the twin towers in NY, and replied something like "I hate the people who did it, but I'm going to let the government decide how to handle it." He returned to the states before he learned of the attack on Afghanistan, and only then realized how his answer sounded - like a Taliban sympathizer. Poor Bastard. Probably get killed by the first patriotic chicano he meets that saw the interview.

Boy #2 is funny. I can really see that happening. He was in a heap of s--t.

That is hilarious! Of course, I'll bet you didn't think so at the time. Talk about unintentionally putting your foot in your mouth!
