Within one month, TJ is almost back to what it was like 6 years ago, before the place got overrun by overspending gringos who found out about the place on the Internet. I almost forgot how good it was, and how bad it had gotten... it just kept getting worse... slowly, but surely... it just kinda "snuck up on ya"... what with all the escalating prices(for girls and drinks), bad chica attitudes, rarer and rarer "kissy-face" episodes(I thought I was just getting too old!).
I just take my M/C now, and avoid ALL the traffic problems, and have the girls to myself again. Mucho "sucky face".
Oh, but there are a few negatives...
1) The bigger bars, with their super inflated prices, haven't got a clue that they are going to have to LOWER PRICES, because DEMAND HAS FALLEN. Stupid Fucks... no big deal, just go in the smaller bars, and it is like a flashback to 7 years ago! But, if you don't speak Spanish... TOO BAD! Stay home!
2) The rateros(including the cops) are really bad right now, because there are so few gringos, your chances of getting screwed have gone up by a factor of 5 - maybe worse, because they are TOTALLY DESPARATE now. Be careful. It reminds me of Mexico City... FUCKING SCARY... but I just can't resist all that nice-looking cheap Mexican pussy.

You are correct, sir. However, the prices are a far site better than in Adelita and CC - and I've been getting damn good service in the smaller bars these last few weeks.
There is NO WAY I'm going to pay $7 per drink for chica pony beers in Adelita. What is it in CC these days - $10? I get them full size beers for $5 in Tejano, and the chicks have better attitudes, bigger tits, are younger, kiss you in the bar, and fuck better.
Why pay more for less?

Chica drinks are $7 at AB and $8 at CC. They've been at this price level for several months.

My only problem with the $7.00 drinks are they do not even drink them.
When I get a table back by the big tube they set full 7oz beers down without even taking a sip.

AB used to be 5USD and CC has been 8USD since I can remember.
