With the recurring requests for info regarding toda la noches, I thought it might be useful to put together a FAQ on the subject. Please feel free to add what you know. Think of this as only a starting point, and very much open to discussion.

1. When is the best time to look for a toda la noche?

Sunday through Thursday nights are the best, since business is slow and the sure money your all-nighter represents tends to be a whole lot more appealing to the chicas. Friday and Saturday night are the worst, since most chicas feel they can make more money at the club than by leaving with you. This does not mean that the TLN is not possible on these prime nights - it just means that you can expect to have to either wait till very late at night/early morning or pay a premium price or both, depending on how high-volume the chica is. Generally the later it is, the better the price will be. The prime earning hours are generally between 11pm and 2am, so if you expect the chica to give them up, you may have to pay a bit more than if you waited till 1 or 2 am. Of course this "prime time" window can shift a bit earlier on weekdays - you should probably expect to get a price break Sun-Thurs anytime after Midnight.

2. What should I expect to pay?

In my experience, for a TLN with a chica from the AB (CC should be very similar) who I've never TLN'd before, the price range is usually between $200 and $500, depending on the chica, the time and the night. If you want a high-volume chica at 10pm on a Saturday night from the AB who you may have taken upstairs once or twice, expect to have to dish out between $4-$500. A second tier chica might run you $3-$400 early on a Friday or Saturday. On a Sunday through Thursday, $2-$300 should get you most chicas. Of course if you know the chicas quite well (multiple TLNs or many short time sessions) or you can negotiate well, you might just be able to get a weekday allnighter in the $100-$200 price range from an AB girl. Of course if you happen to also be young and guapo and the chica takes a fancy to you anything is possible, including free-bees. Although I've never ventured to the smaller clubs like Bar Tropica or Las Chevalas for a TLN, from the reports of those who do frequently mine the unpolished jewels these clubs often contain, the price structure can be significantly lower, but requires a much greater time investment to achieve. The boards are full of reports of $50-$100 TLN's from these clubs, but generally they are with chicas who these mongers have been "working" for an extended period of time - often weeks. The chances of walking into these clubs and walking out a few hours later with a TLN chica are slim indeed. As has been reported elsewhere, Mexico Lindo might be an exception to this small club TLN rule. The long-term session has been common practice at the ML for quite a while, and as another monger has stated, if you stay at the VdeZ, you may very well be able to negotiate a TLN with a ML chica, even if its your first time in the club. Expect to pay for a number of ficha drinks first though. I've heard numerous reports of TLN's from Rev club chicas, but having had zero experience with them, I'll leave it to someone who has to fill us in on those details.

3. Where should I stay?

Where you stay can be very critical, especially for a TLN with a new chica. You generally have your choice between two plans of attack - close to (preferably in) the zona or nice. Zona chicas will feel much more comfortable in a zona hotel such as Leyva, Coahuila or Cascadas. They have a very real and legitimate fear of what you may do to them, so the closer they are to their "support network" the happier they will be. Once you've gotten the first TLN under your belt, and they know you're not going to try to do something awful to them in the middle of the night, your hotel options become relatively limitless. The one thing that may lure a first time TLN chica oustide the zona is the opportunity to stay at a nice hotel. Some find the idea of room service at the AB, Grande, PLG or Lucerne utterly irresistable. The fact that you can afford to stay at these hotels also fires up their rich gringo fantasies, which tend to over-ride such mundane concerns as personal safety. You will also find chicas who have a thing for the jacuzzie suites at the Parador and Pinos motels. The hardest sell can be mid-range hotels outside the zona such at the America and VdeZ (except for ML chicas of course).

4. What should I plan to do on a TLN?

What you do is entirely up to you, and will depend on what time your TLN starts. If you take a chica out of a club at 8pm on a Thursday night for a 12 hr TLN, she's gonna be mighty pissed if you don't at least feed her before you take her to the hotel for an all-night fuck-fest. If its the first time with the chica and its after midnight already, they will expect you to go directly to the hotel. On numerous occaisions I've set up a second TLN for the next night with what had been a first time chica. These are generally much more relaxed, with the chica either coming directly to my hotel at the appointed hour, or meeting me in a non-zona club or restaurant. These TLN's usually include dinner at a decent restaurant and a movie and/or a club before retiring to the hotel. Again, its up to you. Occaisionally you will even find yourself with a TLN chica who never wants to leave. If this mirrors your desires, you may very well end up in the dreaded "novio" zone, with its own set of rules.

5. What can I do to increase my chances of getting a TLN from a chica I've never seen before?

The objective here is actually very simple - making the chica comfortable enough with you to spend the night in your hotel. You can accomplish this in a number of ways, depending on how much money you are willing to spend. The first and most basic way is to just talk to her. If you can make some connection over multiple ficha drinks, you may just be on your way to a TLN. The second way is to take her upstairs, which is never a bad idea before committing to a TLN with a new chica. This allows you to see if she's worth a TLN, and it will make her more comfortable with you. The third way is to enlist the aid of a masero. If a masero "vouches" for you as his amigo, it will help allay the chicas fears. A few maseros such as Willie are also full-time pimps for a number of the chicas. Generally a chica will ask them to look for a gringo with money for multiple sessions or a TLN. They usually agree to give the masero a commission for this service (which I've been told is strictly against club policy - at least at the AB). If you are truly desperate for a TLN and don't mind coughing up $3-$400 for the privilege, look for waiter #1 at the AB. You will instantly become his "good friend" and he will vow to "take care of you" since he "knows what you want". There is another even better way to set up a TLN, and that's to have your favorita or novia arrange it for you. The price is always great, but the potential fall-out is huge!

6. What can I expect to pay in Bar Fines?

The standard bar fine at the AB is $10. It's $20 at the CC. Smaller clubs can be $10 or even $5. This figure can sometimes increase substantially depending on a number of factors such as:
1. Whether the doorman gets along with your chica.
2. How many ficha's she's collected for the night (she does have a quota).
3. How big of a sucker you look like.
If all three of these factors are working against you, the bar fine can easily double, or worse, but if you stick to your guns, you should be able to limit the damage.

Well, that's about all I can think of right now. I'm sure I've gotten some things wrong, since this is based mostly on my personal experience at the AB only, but it is the result of at least 2 to 3 dozen TLNs with at least a dozen different chicas over the past year. Its a damn good thing for my bank account that I don't live closer...

Like I said at the beginning of this FAQ, I would appreciate it if other more experienced mongers would reply with additions and corrections so that we can compile a comprehensive FAQ on this popular subject. Perhaps when it is complete, TJH can create a place for it that we can reference newbies to.

Thank you for the great info. A few more questions:

1. Do you negotiate specifics of TLN, such as the number of sex and the length of her stay?

2. Do you pay before or after? I hate to cough up $300 and she leaves after an hour. If she leaves after a couple of hours, what do you do?

3. Since TLN starts well after midnight, is there problem with entrance to upscale hotels, such as Grand Hotel TJ?

My experiences...

What should be established in TLN? It depends on the time, afternoon/early evening or late evening (after 2200). As Drew correctly pointed out, if it's afternoon/early evening offer dinner and/or clubbing. I've done both and can actually be entertaining. The number of times doing the deed? I've never negotiated the sex activities although I expect at least two rounds (evening and morning wake-up). If you have established a history of multiple sessions w/her or previous sessions it's a moot point. Most chicas have children and their schedule revolves around them. Ask whether she wants breakfest.

Balancing the books
I've always paid the next morning before she leaves. Never had a problem. Also, never had a chica leave during the night or after a few hours.

Hotels
There should not be any hassle when two guests are registered.

Great questions Antonio! for forgetting to include that essential info in the first place, so here it is:

What should be established in the negotiation for a TLN?

The negotiation for a TLN generally consists of two essential subjects, the price and the length. Depending on the chica and how she feels about you, the second item, length, can be anything from hotly contested to practically disregarded. At a minimum, you should get 4 or 5 hours for your money, but usually you should get 8 to 12. Just make sure each price you negotiate is attached to a definite time before which she will not leave. The base line for my TLN negotiations is always breakfast, or 8 am and almost all of my repeat TLN's are from 8pm to 8am, usually with breakfast at a restaurant before she goes home. Occasionally a chica will want to include the number of fucks as part of the negotiation. This is generally not a good sign, and unless your heart (or dick) is set on her, you may want to consider a different choice. Just like selecting a chica for a short term session, much depends on your "feel" for her.

When should I expect to pay?

This varies significantly. If you deal with Willie, the chica will always demand at least a $100 up-front, so she can give Willie his cut before leaving. She will also ask for the Bar Fine. Usually though just the Bar Fine up front and payment in the morning has been the norm for me. For a first time TLN you can probably expect to pay at least have up-front.

Are there problems bringing the chica into the hotels?

This also varies greatly. I'll tell you my experiences so far...
PA - no problems.
PLG - no problems.
Zona hotels - no chica limits, ever.
America - no problems.
VdeZ - no problems before 9pm, but after 9pm the chica will have to be registered. More than 1 chica after 9pm is a MAJOR hassel!
Parador - no problem - its their primary business
Pinos - Same as Parador

VZ at anytime is no problem. When you check in, check in for two...no additional charge don't know who you're amiga is going to be? Make up a name!

I was stopped while bringing in a chica only once, and that was the first time I stayed there. The guard asked me if I had registered for two, I said "si" and started to reach for my hotel statement and before I could dig it out of my pocket he said "ok".

Since then they know me pretty well...and if I show up at the room sin chica the guard will ask me "por que no senorita?"

I also always register for two when I check into the VdeZ, and have never had a problem when I return to the hotel with one chica. course for most of the past 2 or 3 months, I was involved with the now-ex novia, so the usual routine would be that I would call her after checking in, and she would then come to the hotel. When arriving alone, she was invariably hasseled by the security guards, who would escort her to my door and remind me about the "No guests after 9pm" rule. The whole time she would be ripping into them like you wouldn't believe. I would assure them that she was registered, and they would sulk away, muttering about how badly Alexa had abused them verbally. One night I even had a security guard complain to me about her when I was by myself that most chicas usually tip them to allow them into the hotel. He never did get that tip.
Another time I had two chicas show up at the hotel without me since I was already in the room, and they made them wait at the office until I came down and paid off the night clerk for the second chica. So basically, I'd have to agree with your experience. As long as I've registered for two and arrive with the chica, I've never had a problem. Anything outside that box though can be a real pain.
BTW, two chicas before 9 was absolutely no problem.

Not that there's any thing wrong with what you've offered in your post, and I'm sure that works for you but for some of us it's a little different.

5. What can I do to increase my chances of getting a TLN from a chica I've never seen before? Be well dressed, clean, neat, smooth, nice, charming tell her if she knows what's good for her she'll come with me. Although I've only done this once it's extremely difficult. Most girls that don't know you are going to be very hesitant to go any where with any one they don't know. In this case you're probably better off paying her.

6. What can I expect to pay in Bar Fines? Nothing. If the bitch likes me she'll find a way to get out of the place.

Well I'm sure this won't work for every one but it's just been my experience. Maybe others will chime in with their two cents.

On the subject of 'in room safety', do what you would do on a 'hobby' trip to other parts of the world.

Know your chica.

Know your taxista.
(He's the only other person who knows where you're going to be staying)

Stash your cash and cards.

Don't leave things of value out.
(Personally, I lock my overnight bag even though I don't have anything of value with me in the room)

When sleeping in bed, cuddle con la chica.
(They love it, and you always know where she is. I'm a light sleeper, so this works well for me.)

The other thing is to be friendly upon check in at the hotel. If you can, use the same place for all your stays. Tip the guy who shows you to your room and be especially nice to the front desk staff. Remember that these are the people who will want your return business, and be your first line of assistance, if needed.

An all-pro I've known for a couple of years wanted to go out dancing a while back. It turned into a pretty educational experience as well as a complete kick in the ass! Here are a few nuggets of acquired knowledge:

Bar fines: She had obligated herself to dance until 8:30 PM. So we waited until then to go out. She was ready to go around nine and hit me up for a $10.00 bar fine. My exact words were "Fuck That! If I had to pay to get you out of here, we could have had a nice dinner by now!" She knew that ten bucks wasn't going to flame me, but waiting around for three hours did. My reaction REALLY seemed to bother her. So, I handed her a ten spot and we were out of there. What I surmise: The Bar Fine is an agreement between the chica and the house. Once THEY agree to it, THEY are obligated (even though it's your money).

Check your gut at the border: We had a great time out and about. But I've got to tell you, under any other circumstances I would have said "NO FUCKING WAY!!" all night long. We went to Dance Clubs, Titty Bars and places I have no idea how to classify all night long (all at her insistence). I'll be telling stories about that night for as long as I live! What I surmise: Had I not gone along for the ride (and brought the thick wallet) I'd never have had the experience.

Booze: Once we got out to the first dance club, the lady started drinking tequila. Having been in The Service and in college, I knew that was my cue to start nursing the brews. The cool thing was that I had already gotten three really nasty nuts that day. Getting laid was not my all-encompassing desire. The next day, I had my nuts turned into raisins! What I surmise: At my age, having a drunken prom date is a pretty cool thing!

Hotel: Know where you're going to spend the night! Get a nice room in advance. Even though the shithole dive we ended up in gave me stories to tell forever, I'd still rather have stayed at Hotel America.

The morning after the night before: Remember that these ladies are deep down just like any other lady. If they enjoy the night before, you'll enjoy the morning after!

Here're three minor points:

- Best not to pick a chica who has kids living with her in TJ. Otherwise, she'll be eager to leave in the morning ("need to take kids to day care").

- Best to pick a chica who has about the same body fat as you do. Otherwise, at midnight in la cama, one of you may feel cold and the other may feel too warm for the blanket.

- Some chicas do snore so if you are sensitive about it, you should ask.

Point 1 is SO true. Many times they won't end up really spending the entire night. I think it is best to find a chica that is NOT from TJ, and is there all by her lonesome. Many times these gals will hang out with you for hours, or even days...

On point two, I disagree. (Although maybe it depends on the chica a little). I just love to have the thinner gals curl up, on, and around me to stay warm.

As to point three, I carry breathe right strips - for my own use, sometimes, as well.

The MAIN factor for a TLN is to find a chica that you REALLY want to be with you for 4-8 (or more) hours. Up to my last two trips, I was all-about the TLN but then I realized that I was getting chicas that were great for a few hours but were either a) lumps in the morning who wanted to do zilch until about 4 in the evening, or b) very high maintenance who wanted to do EVERYTHING (breakfast, Plaza Rio, lunch, movie, "maybe some more sex", and then leave for work that evening).

Just recently, Alexia begged me to come back to my hotel for a TLN but a) I was expecting (and received!) a morning visitor, & b) the only reason she wanted to TLN with me was becasue she knew that her amiga, Frida, and I had spent allot of great TLNs together (that for the most part were free). Now, as hot as Alexia is, I knew her personality was like night & day compared to Frida and I envisioned a non-enjoyable "morning-after" along with an expensive evening.

What I (try to) do now is wait for the right vibe and invite the chica back to my hotel for 1-2 hours early in their shift which ALWAYS extends to more hours then discussed with no more money. This leaves my days free for: sleeping in (OK, I never do that!), shopping (pharmacies, cigars, etc.), MPs, good restaurants with friends, napping (I DO that!), seeing how ugly the zona is during the daylight!, and perhaps....spending more time with a chica from the past.

Which Hotel do you use?

Every trip I've made to TJ (except one), I stayed at the Pueblo Amigo. One trip I stayed at the Lucerna which was nice but there were allot of things I missed about the PA. After an afternoon "delight", I always pay the maid to make the room pristine again in case I want to bring someone else back later.

What I forgot to mention regarding my change from TLN to afternoon sessions is that it also leaves me open to party with all of my amigos who in the past would get pissed when I would suddenly disappear with a chica for the night. The afternoon session can & will take the edge off so my "hunter's eyes" aren't as focused and I can enjoy the flowing tequila and exquisite cigars.

My development of TLNs is similar. When I first started doing them I was happy the longer the girl stayed with me. Oftentimes I brought them back to the begin of their next shift at 10pm! However, there are already VERY few hot chicas in la Zona, but there are even fewer hot chicas who I can stand being around for more than a few hours.
Last Saturday I had a chica who I didn't want to anything else with than fucking. So we went to the hotel and had a great night. The next day I was really happy to see her leave at noon. I had a date for lunch and simply nothing else to do with this girl.
I am hitting 40 soon and I can fuck only for so long. I know it sounds pretty bad, but most of the ZN girls are on the more simple range of chicas. Not of the type who interests me on a personel level...
