Where do these girls stand? There are at least 3 Alexandras at AB, several Diannas. Patricias by the dozen. More detail would be nice.

This Alejandra stands upstairs in the corner by the mens room entrance.

I got herpes from an Adelitas girl.

Alejandra is not necessarily who gave it to me. I will find out her name and let you know who she is. I was with nobody before or after her for quite some time, and it is exactly 2 weeks to the day that I was with her, and it is typically 2 weeks for it to show up... I just posted this in this thread because its at the top and I dont want anyone to miss it. Once i get my fucking life in order and accept the fact that I will never be able to be with the girl of my dreams now, then I will head down to TJ and get the girls name. It is important that everyone know who she is so you can avoid her.

Nevervana,

"accept the fact that I will never be able to be with the girl of my dreams now" -

you know that's not necessarily true. Don't want to sound like a preacher, but try not to think that way. I dated a woman (straight relationship in the US) for a year with herpes and loved her very much. Didn't matter to me, there's medications and ways to deal with it. I'm sure the Internet is a great info resource for this.

Tell us, with or without a condom? Also, names change on a daily basis at AB. Any sure-fire way of easily spotting her? Identifying marks, unusal hair, facial characteristics, does she hang in a particular spot, etc?

What do you guys think about the idea that Nevervana identifies this girl and let's AB management know about it?

So much for health cards.

I can't believe you still believe that health card crap.Yes they are required but everything including them can be bought. You know that!!!

By La_Dulce_Vida on Sunday, January 21, 2001 - 09:05 am:  Edit

Specific,

Never believed or disbelieved, just didn't know, but you're right, I suspect they're not worth the paper they're printed on.

Maybe they even make matters worse by giving mongers a false/hopeful sense of security.

Alot of people have herpes.Don't sweat it so much. Some people have it and it really is no problem.By the way there is a strain of herpes that a condom does not protect you from.

By Specific on Sunday, January 21, 2001 - 10:00 am:  Edit

By the way guys when I talked to my fave she said the reason adelitas was so busy with girls was because they relaxed all the rules. The girls can work shorter shifts and there are no more ficha quotas. She also said that alot of girls are working without health cards. So if your really worried ask to see them. Not that it really means anything.

Nevervana,

Don't feel bad, I caught Herpes *from* the girl of my dreams.

You lie with dogs long enough you eventually catch fleas. An old spanish proverb.

Nevervana, I am more ignorant than knowledgeable about herpes, but I know that even if it has a "typical" 2 week gestation period, that there can be quite a variance from that. Someone who knows much more than me said gestation periods of up to 3 months aren't all that uncommon. So I don't think you can be 100% sure that it was this AB girl who gave it to you (unless you plan to confront her outright). I would think that wild ride in Rio Rita which you reported about recently might come under suspicion as well.

By Hacm on Sunday, January 21, 2001 - 12:45 pm:  Edit

Nevervana,

It has been estimated that 20-40 percentage of the US population has herpes. For many people it has gone into remission permanently. Have you been verified by a dermatologist? I was positive I had gotten it last year and it turned out to be a fungus.

Specific:

Sorry to be unclear, I caught herpes from a non-working, non-Mexican girl.

Just about anyone can get herpes at any time.

By Nevervana on Sunday, January 21, 2001 - 01:28 pm:  Edit

Thanks guys. I went to see a couple doctors and they've held off on confirming that it is herpes. One stated that it is "flat warts", another stated that it is an incredibly mild outbreak, and yes that its 2 weeks for the first outbreak typically.

Sorry I didn't give any more information in my first post, and TJHOMBRE you can move these messages to the health thread instead of alejandra if you want...

I was with a girl two weeks ago who was incredibly weird acting. She bragged that she had had sex with 26 guys before me that night there at Adelitas. When she laid down on the bed, I tried to spread her legs and she put her hands over her vagina and closed her legs. She did this several times. Would not let me look. I was drunk so I didn't insist, but i definitely took note. While we had sex she put her legs up onto my right shoulder and kept her hand covering up her vagina, as kind of a barrier between me and her. I found this incredibly weird.

She was complaining of pain but said it was due to the 25 guys that night, and that im "soooo big". (not). In any case, I assumed it was a trick they knew where it felt like you were actually in the girl but in reality you might barely be dipping in and mostly fucking her hand. One finger on each side of the dick was the way she did it... all the while covering it up.

Anyways, wouldn't have thought anything of it had I not started getting fever, aching back, legs, butt... then about 4 days of incredibly intense itching all around my groin area. I was convinced I had crabs. It was bad. Then came some burning and redness on the skin. Then a series of zits popped up all around my pelvis and upper inside legs. Still I didn't think much of it, because there are thousands of viruses out there that you exchange when you're sexual with someone that just come and go with time.

It wasn't until two pinhead sized opaque blisters appeared on the underside of the shaft right where the condom ends, did I freak out.

In any case - there's still a chance this isn't herpes I guess. I saw three doctors in the past 24 hours and they all said it's not herpes. None of them are dermatologists though, and doctors are renound for being full of shit and misinformed in my experience... still no major blisters that are eraserhead sized though... but im told outbreaks can be unnoticeable to horrendous.. so that doesn't give me much comfort.

Bottom line? We're all fucking crazy to be having sex with these girls.

That is right 20 to 40 per cent have herpes. Many people have it and don't know until they get a medical checkup. The girls who have it can still work by the way.So it is always the best idea to be careful. If I were anybody doing zona chica's I would be much more worried about hepititus which can be deadly and is passed by oral or genital contact. This is one desease that women give more to men because of there anatomy.Dr.Dick I am sure can explain it better than me just know that if you are going down on a chica without protection of a DENTAL DAM good luck.

what's the difference between love and herpes?
herpes is forever! I too was diagnosed by a GP in Puerto Rico as having herpes, and I went home and
blamed my wife.Years later,a urologist examined me and assured me it was just a fungus.I'd always heard that saliva pretty much killed alot of possible viruses, can any of our distinguished medical brethren verify this?

Gee - nice to know how many mongers are infected with herpes virus. No offense guys, but sheesh.

By Nevervana on Monday, January 22, 2001 - 01:25 am:  Edit

Erip - I forgot to reply to your comment regarding the rio rita girl. After a ton of research, and speaking with the docs, its generally understood that infection with herpes does manifest itself at least in some fashion approximately 14 days from the time of infection, so im fairly confident that whatever it is, was obtained 14 days ago. Coincidentally, 14 days to the day, was the time when I started seeing symptoms.

Also her actions during the experience, especially covering herself up and repeatedly wincing in pain are indicative of not wanting me to see an outbreak on her, and feeling the pain of an outbreak. She was seriously seriously in pain but kept a straight face.

Having done a lot of research, one can be at least 80% sure that one has not contracted anything if one is able to go 2 1/2 weeks without any symptoms after a TJ visit. This of course doesn't include HIV infection or a couple others, but as for (forgive the spelling) Gonnoreah, Syphiliss, Clamydia, Herpes, Warts, Molluscum Contagiosum, etc... they all have an appearance time of 1 to 2 weeks.

My itching and redness is now gone as I write this, but the tiny blisters (that don't hurt and don't itch and have zero feeling around them) are present. The lack of pain, swelling, and redness implies to me that this isn't herpes. They are microscopic and never developed into anything herpes-like. I will be going to the derm tomorrow to get the official word. My fingers are crossed that this is just warts or something, which can go away permanently with time.

Either way, I will be getting the name of the girl for you all, and making sure she knows what she did to me.

Stay tuned...

I don't think two weeks is quite written in stone. I have a friend who contracted herpes and had not had any sexual contact for over a month, AND it turned out the woman he had been with then didn't have herpes!! So, he had it for over a month with no symptoms...

There is now a blood test they can do that I guess is pretty accurate to determine if someone has herpes.

Nervervana,
Don't discount the possibility of a bad case of jock itch (for your original symptoms), as pimples (which become tiny blisters) at the bases of hairs at the periphery of the affected area are common and spread as the fungus/yeast spreads. Untreated jock itch is terribly persistent and causes agonizing itching. In fact, aside from the "flat warts" you describe, your description sounds a lot like a really bad case of jock itch.
-Dr.Planet, not a medical doctor, but a previous victim of jock itch that went on for at least two months on and off...
