Taxibob,
Get the ragtop done in TJ for $200, and then spend the other $300 on a chica for a topless weekend! I just had a top put on a 90 Sunbird (essentially the same as a Cavalier) about 3 months ago for just under $200. I think the name of the shop was Cadillac - it's on 3rd St. and is one of the first ones where they "flag" you in. The work was fine, and the top comes with a one year guarantee so if anything goes wrong you can take it back in to them. Re: the headliner.....there is an upholstery shop in Rosarito that is just super...can't remember the name but it's on the corner where you turn to go to the power plant when you first come into North Rosarito. (you can't miss it as there is a big UPHOLSTERY sign on the shop) Rene, the owner, speaks good English and he and his workers there do wonderful work - you can take in your own fabric or he will find it for you. He does furniture upholstery and car upholstery/headliners....prices reasonable with some room to bargain. I've had both furniture and autos done there and have been more than pleased.

TOFUTUSH,
Is that upholstery shop stil there in Rosarito??
Im going this Valentine weekend and Im taking a leather car seat that has been ripped. It costs about 400-500 dollars in the states to fix so Im going to take it with me so I can get it repaired for a lesser price. Any other suggestions besides this place?? Thanks in advance.
