I got my best price on "CIPRO" at Drug Depot on Revolucion between 4th & 5th. (This is NOT the Drug depot between 2nd & 3rd)

Looking for a good source for Doxycycline. Should I be concerned bringing it back across the border by foot? How good are they checking these days?

Unless you glue it to your ID, or your cell phone, I doubt that the INS or BP will even know you've got it.

Great. Of course I'll have to assure myself there's plenty of cotton in the jar to prevent them from rattling around like a baby's rattle.

I came across at Otay (via Mexicoach, walking across) No line. He asked me what I had & I said one carton (cigaretes) and antibiotics (2 bottles of cipro - 28 tablets each bottles). He asked me who they were for, and I said "Me" and he said OK.

YMMV !

Senor Pauncho How much did you pay for the two bottles of cipro? Thanks in advance.

By Senor Pauncho on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 - 10:48 am:  Edit

Payton, The week before I had been quoted 154 pesos per bottle, but when I went back on the 20th, it was a bit cheaper than 154 pesos per bottle of 28. Exactly how much I forget.

Pharmacia Castaneda is the one I use. Located at the border, 2 doors north of the pedestrian walkway, right next to the waiting cabbies.
They sell Vimax (the cheap, but equally effective and easier to break Viagra) for $6.50 per 100 mg.

They also sell vimax in a container of 5 100 mg for $31.50. If they quote you $32, just reply how about $31.50.

You guys mean to tell me that the place with the billboard sized sign "WE WILL BEAT ANY PRICE" is false advertising? Should I report them to the TJ BBB?hose crooks,(and I think of all the pesos I`ve lost over the years by not comparison shopping.) PS that joint is across the street from the sports book right after you go thru the gate.

If you get the card from Gusher, your scrips are cheaper.

I am going to cross back with a couple of Mexican prescriptions for controlled drugs such as valium. My understanding is that if I decalre them I can have a 50 day supply. Anyone know? Also is it true that if the police in TJ find prescription drugs on you and you have a prescription it is no problema?

I'm going to be visiting Tijuana soon in order to have some fun. One of my uncles has asked me to pick up some cialis or viagra for him while I'm there. Can you guys recommend a trustworthy pharmacy down there? I'd hate to have him take anything that isn't the real deal.

Thanks

Go to the Costco in Tijuana.
Very good prices, dependable product.

"Go to the Costco in Tijuana."

Years ago they required a presciption. Is that still the case?

By Scatmandoo on Friday, January 26, 2007 - 01:17 am:  Edit

I don't think so, but this is what's happened with me there:

I obtained a Levitra prescription from Dr. Romero in TJ and presented it to the Costco pharmacist about a year ago. When I later obtained a prescription for Cialis I did the same thing. They looked at the prescriptions, but because I started out by offering it up front, I didn't know if they would sell the ED drugs to me without it.

This summer when I was buying one of those two ED drugs there I also asked for some Viagra, even though I lacked any prescription for it. They sold the Viagra to me without asking for one. On some visits I bought all three ED druggas, yet on other visits I bought only the Viagra (for which I lacked a prescription).

It's possible that they only sold me the V that way because I was already an established ED druggas purchaser.
