Since Molcajetes was right across the street I decided to go there.
Wednesday is ladies night and we got there around 9 PM. T money will be disappointed with me for bringing "sand to the beach" or "liqueur to an open bar." If you haven't been here is it a really nice place to bring a date. I have been here now about a dozen times, it is like an upscale TGIF. Depending on what time it is they may frisk you going in, they do card if you look young. The food is good, reasonable prices, drinks are on the mid to high prices for TJ. When I brought some local chicas from tj here -- they told me the tequila was watered down. I am not a tequila drinker so I do not know.

We had the cheese fondue with chorizo and buffalo wings (they even take the time to wrap the ends in tin foil !! ) and then had the beef fajitas bland tasting but OK. Over we spent about a little over 1 HR here and only drank coke. What I like about this place if your not a drinker they do not charge you for multiple cokes (unlimited refills) unlike other bar/restaurants!! They have menus in English and the service is real fast and excellent.

The total bill was 27 smacks!

Now to the chica part - ouch they started filling in around 9.30 , friggin carloads !!! really nice mid to high class chicas and i even saw some zona norte chicas here. Sorry i couldn't sample their attitudes tonight as I was with my novia. I used to come here Thursdays because they had a live band and it was a lot of fun, and was the loudest place in TJ , but I heard Thursdays have slowed down here recently. It does get real packed here and they have the tequila pimps and photographers too. You do not have to find your own waiter to help you if there is a problem, they have tons there waiting to serve you and help if you have any problems!

Molcajetes must be feeling the squeeze also. I just heard on the radio that they're offering 2 for 1 drinks until midnight on Fridays.

yes it has been dead there for some time !!
i didnt stay the last 2 times i went in.
if they are hurting on fridays too , uhh ohh!!

This is a great place to see the fights. They have a big screen TV and very reasonable food and beer prices. However, I don't see this as a major pick up place for chicas.
