With credit to Milkman.

If you are looking for a cheap (hotel) alternative try the Adelitas Hotel. (On 4th street, I think, going towards the border off Revolution) It is a strictly fucking motel. For 20 smacks you get a no frills bedroom with TV and you can bring anyone you want here. For 28 smacks you get a double with a huge window (good if you like the breeze) and you get a patio too - right outside your room.

I bring my novia here all the time. Again it is not the Ritz Carlton but it will do and it is never fully occupied because it is sort of hidden.

Some nights a lot of the Rev hotels are full. (I do not think that is much of a problem right now) But, some people do not like the idea of having a room right on Revolution, because they want to be secretive and don't want other people seeing them bring girls in and out of the hotel - The Adelita Hotel is your perfect "hiding place".

Any more recent reviews?

I stayed her the other night.

I registered for two people and my honey arrived later.

When I requested a second towel, the asshole at the desk told me we should share. I got in his face and he capitulated and gave me a second towel.

After my friend left in the AM, I went back to bed and the night desk guy what me up to ask me what time I had registered at the hotel.

Stupid little ass.

I am NOT going back there. Other than the above, it was OK.

Do the rooms in the Adelita Hotel have a shower? What restaurants are nearby?

I have some additional questions about Adelita Hotel and surroundings:
- if you stay at Adelita Hotel and get a girl in the bar, can you take her to your room without a room charge, or do have to pay anyway?
- is it save to leave money in a locked suitcase in your room, since I don't want to carry alot of cash on me?
- are there any internet cafes within walking distance?
- has anyone how has stayed at Adelita hotel had any problems (the room, management, etc.)?
- what is climate in TJ like in September? Do rooms in the Adelita hotel have air conditioning?

Yes, the AB hotel rooms have showers. They provide soap, but I don't think they provide shampoo.

Lots of restuarants near by. Monte Carlo is the restuarant next to AB. La Perla Negra is a seafood restaurant near by. Revolution Blvd. is very close too.

If you stay the nite in a AB hotel room you can bring as many AB chicas to your room with no extra charge. But I think there is a charge if you bring a chica that doesn't work in AB.

You can get a key for you room so you can lock it but I think you need to leave a $5 deposit for the key.

There is an internet cafe on Second street. It is inbetween the MacDonald's and the HSBC bank on the same side. I don't know the name of it. It is a 5 to 10 min walk.

I've never stayed over nite in the AB hotel. Overall the hotel seems very clean to me but I think it is very noisy. There are no TVs in the rooms.

The AB rooms have AC, but you don't have a thermostat in the room.

The hotel titled and pictured at the beginning of this thread is outside of La Zona and not a part of Adelitas Bar. But I assume you are asking about the hotel above Adelitas Bar.

At initial overnight check-in to the Coahuila Hotel (above AB) I was typically issued two towels, two soaps and two condoms. Presumably one towel and one soap each was intended for me and my first chica guest. Room was $35 plus a $5 key deposit.

I was charged $1 extra for each subsequent AB chica or SG that I took up individually to the room prior to noon checkout. Each subsequent puta was issued a fresh towel, soap and condom for this $1 charge.

The weather can often be fairly hot and uncomfortable in TJ in September. The Coahuila does have AC, but your only modest control of it is to open or close the room vent.
