THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! Located on Aguacalientes Blvd, a block b4 the Grand Hotel and on the other side of the street. Full house at 5pm on Sat., great atmosphere, colorful seatings and decorations. Diner for two including a dozen of oysters, sopas de al meja, camarones enchiamplados' (sp?) (shrimp in white wine sauce with mushroom & celery), and 6 beers came out to be 38bones. Excellent food and the staffs provided 1st class services. They let us sampled some seafood appetizers which we weren't familiar with b4 we decided to order.
This is a must place for fans of La Costa and Los Pinos. There was no fricking loud blasting banda, but I saw couple tables with beautiful chicas enjoying diner by themselves. If you drive, it's ~10-15min from the Zona, but it's definitely worth the drive. Enjoy.

Nice to see you found this place. I've been taking girls there for years. It's definately one of the better places to go.

Smoked Marlin Tacos, the best in the world. You can't go to this place and not partake of these. Next time try the smoked marlin tacos, you will be hooked.

Actually, the best seafood restaurant in TJ is Mariscos Don Pepe on Blvd. Funadadores across from the Tijuana Brewery. Los Narcos seafood specializes in cocteles and prawn dishes. Don Pepe's is much more formal and the seafood is much fresher.

WHERE: 201 Blvd. Salinas
DIRECTIONS: Go East on Sanchez Taboada. Go right on street just past Cinemark Theatres. Make another right on Salinas. Down one block on your right hand side.
RATING: 3 STARS
FOOD: Excellent selection of shellfish and fish fillets. Whole fish can be bought here and cooked to your liking. Appetizers not that great.
ATMOSPHERE: Straight out of Sinaloa. My local friends from Chapultepec call this place "Los Narcos" Usually Burros (Guys that transport accross but not really well into Cartel) with big Pancho Villa mustaches, tons of gold chains exposed under unbottoned shirt, cowboy hat, the works. Usually with his minor wife and offspring. She will be the one with the bleached blonde hair and tons of jewelry. Lots of Lincoln Navigators and Escalades parked out front. Great place to take your Tropical date.
PRICE: Pretty high and with a lot of variance. You can ring up a huge bill because the selection is huge.
SERVICE: Not that great. The waiters have to be extremely attentative to the traffickers or they get pissed.
