This is my trip report for my time in TJ from 10/20 through 10/24. For those who may not want to read all the details, you can search on an asterisk (*) for pertinent info. I will put three types of things between asterisks. (1) Chica's name-first mention, so you can get info on a girl you may not have met. (2) Observations-general things I noticed on my trip that may be interesting to others. (3) Questions-things I am curious about.

I headed down to SD/TJ Saturday the 20th. I had asked on this board for directions to the eastern route to avoid LA traffic. I went around via Highway 15 and arrived in good time. There had been some debate about whether it was faster to take the 15 all the way to the 5 or take the exit to 805 which comes just 2-3 miles earlier. I stayed on the 15 to the 5, but my guess just from observation is that it may be slightly faster to take the 805 exit. The difference would be pretty small.

Saturday, 10/20

I took a cab to Adelita's around 7:00. I walked around the block just to get a look at the SGs, even though I'd never seriously considered going with one. Having heard so much about the selection being down, I was pleasantly surprised that there were so many good-looking street girls that night. In fact, this is the one time I would say that the SG selection was probably better than in the bars. However, several were of the type that I would have asked to see ID before going with them. I can't say any were underage, but they were close. So many of the SGs pulled on my shirt as I walked by I actually considered walking down the street the other way so that my stretched sleeves would match. I also stopped by the Chicago Club before going to AB and selection was good there too, though pretty small in number.

AB was like a usual Saturday night. Within an hour of my arrival, it was extremely crowded. I guess you can't tell much from a Saturday night, but I don't see much drop-off from previous visits. There were several good-looking girls there so I took some time before making my choice. One I noticed but didn't go with was a very thin black girl wearing painted on jeans and a t-shirt. I made a mental note to catch up with her on another night, but never saw her again. I also noticed a girl I thought I had been with before, but I couldn't be sure Yvonne(?). I made the same note about her. She was standing next to the girl I eventually decided to go with *Lucero*.

I bought Lucero a get-to-know-you drink. *Observation #1*: It now costs $9.50 for a soda (I don't drink alcohol at all when I go to TJ) and a chica drink. I think that breaks down to $7 for her drink and $2.50 for mine. That means it is now $10 or $11 (including tip) just for the get-to-know-you part. I think I mentioned in my previous trip report that this is called the 'foot in the door' technique by salespeople. Once you've invested that much, it's hard to back away from the deal.

Anyway, back to Lucero. She is medium height and weight, although she seemed thinner that night than when I saw her on other nights after that. She was wearing pants with photos of newspaper articles on them, many of which dealt with 9/11. I noticed that several of the girls were wearing patriotic clothing. Maybe they think it will help them attract American clients. Who knows, it probably doesn't hurt. Lucero also displayed a mild party girl personality; not over the top, but she seemed to be having fun. She says she's been in TJ about a month and a half (haven't they all?). We negotiated for $50 and up we went.

*Observation #2*: My negotiation strategy: Usually, if the girl doesn't mention price, I just offer $40, at which point they usually negotiate up to $50. That way seems to keep me from paying more than $50, but so far it seems to have prevented me from getting any takers at $40. I know some of you who go more often get better deals. I would certainly like to pay less, but since I don't get down there very often, it is more important that I get the girl I want than pay a really good price.

When we got to the room, Lucero invited me into the shower. I don't know if this is a normal part of her service or if she thought I was too sweaty. I preferred the former explanation, at least at the time. We had a little fun lathering up and then retired to the bedroom. Lucero had excellent technique, both at BJ and at intercourse. She wasn't a great actor, but she knows how to use her body very well and I had a very enjoyable time.

I went over to CC to get a cab and headed back for the border wondering what the wait would be like. The line was long but it moved pretty quickly. I probably got through in 30-45 minutes and I'm guessing it was around 11 PM. They had all the lanes open. I noticed that a couple of the INS officers, one Caucasian and one Latina, are pretty good looking.

Sunday, 10/21

On Sunday, I went to the Chargers/Broncos game hoping to see the Broncos get back on track after an embarrassing loss to Seattle the previous week. Unfortunately, their bad play continued as the left side of their offensive line retired at the end of last year and the new guys just can't cut it. Even with Junior Seau out for half the game with an injury, Rodney Harrison spent half his day in the Denver backfield. Griese threw a couple of interceptions, Anderson fumbled once, and the Broncos lost badly.

I had parked at the border and taken the trolley to the game so I just headed over the border when I got back that evening. AB wasn't nearly as busy as it had been Saturday night, but many of the same girls were there. Lucero caught my attention, but despite the fact that I'd had a good time with her, I wanted someone new. I saw *Jacqueline*, who I'd had a bad experience with before. There was no way I was going with her and she seemed to know it as she approached everyone else but me. At one point, I was standing outside to get some air and she came out to take her latest victim up. A couple of guys standing there started laughing and said that this was her 4th trip up in just a couple of hours. I will say this for Jacqueline, this girl sure knows how to entice men.

Eventually, I went with Sandra, a girl who stands to the left side of the left bar. She wears tight pants, has a nice ass, and those overlapping bangs someone nicknamed 'SG bangs' a while back. Anyway, we had a good time, but nothing extraordinary. One thing that was slightly unusual, she brought a Trojan with her. She used the hotel condom for the BJ and the Trojan for sex. I don't know exactly why, but I appreciated the fact that she was concerned for safety.

The borderline wasn't as long this time, but they only had two lanes open. It took maybe 15 minutes to get through at around 10 or 11. There was some drunken kid yelling as he came up to the line. He really wasn't doing anything that terrible, but he would have to be either drunk or stupid to mess with these INS guys at all right now. A couple of them pulled him out of line and gave him a lecture. He got back in line rather sheepishly and was quiet after that.

Tuesday, 10/23

Monday I decided to stay back and watch MNF. I went again to TJ on Tuesday night. This is the slowest night I've seen yet. Chicago Club was even deader than usual. There were only two guys in the whole place. Selection was down, but there were still several girls available. *Observation #3*: I think the selection problems may affect you guys who live in San Diego more than the rest of us. I think I'm a bit more selective than most, but I can always find 2 or 3 girls who are interesting enough to consider. If I went more often, I would have been with many of them already and would have fewer new girls to choose from.

This time a girl chose me-at least I like to think of it that way. *Nancy* came up to me with a hug and invited me to the room. Even though I'd been eyeing her for a few minutes, I turned her down at first because I wasn't ready. I was a little nervous at first because I noticed her chatting with Jacqueline. I was hoping Jac didn't share any of her techniques. This leads to *Question #1*: When a girl stiffs me or treats me badly, I obviously avoid her in the future. I'm sure others do the same. I'm wondering-do you also avoid girls who appear to be her friends? I'm sure these girls talk about what they do and share tips with one another and I'm wondering if girls who rip clients off tend to have friends who do likewise.

Anyway, I was enamored with Nancy, so I didn't avoid her. I caught up with her a few minutes after the hug and we went up. Nancy is a petite girl,
wears jeans, has a nice ass, shoulder length hair, and tends to hang around HC with Jacqueline and others. She also speaks better than average English and preferred to converse in English so she could practice. She didn't try to rip me off as Jac had and we had a good time. The knock came a little bit early. Nancy hopped off and finished me by hand. I didn't mind because I was almost ready anyway and she had good hand technique.

I headed back to the border between 9:30 and 10:00. This had been my shortest trip ever, only about 2 hours all told. Someone on this board had suggested asking the cabbies to take me to 'la linea' if I wanted to go to the border crossing side instead of the cab stand. That seemed to work the first two nights, but not this one. I had been saying "la linea por cinco?", but this time I ended up at the cab stand. The next night I tried getting a little more specific "la linea sentri por cinco" and I got where I wanted. The INS line was non-existent and I sailed right through.

Wednesday, 10/24

I wasn't sure I was in the mood to go Wednesday, but since it was my last night in town, I decided it wasn't worth it. *Observation #3*: This is an advantage you locals have over those of us who travel to get to TJ. If I lived near TJ, I would probably try to go once or twice a month and would do it only when I felt the need/desire. But when I go as part of a scheduled trip, I am having sex, not when I feel the need, but according to a schedule. It takes a little of the fun out of it.

I was a little disappointed in the selection that night. I tried to find Yvonne(?) but she was nowhere to be seen. Yvonne is a pretty girl, short, very petite, with large pouty lips and big eyes. I had put off going with her the other nights because I had been with her before. I finally decided this must be her night off. Then, I saw her come downstairs and head into AB. I followed her in after a couple of minutes but she wasn't anywhere in the bar. I still don't know what happened to her. I also looked for the black girl I'd seen from Saturday night, but couldn't find her either. There was a girl in a red dress that I found intriguing, but only a couple of others.

I finally ended up with a girl named *Pamela*. For some reason, I don't remember a great deal about her looks etc. We went up and proceeded to start. She was very concerned about making sure the condom stayed all the way on and her method of applying it was a bit painful which affected my mood a bit. Again the knock came a bit early. She started to finish things by hand but her technique left something to be desired. After a couple of minutes of alternating between pleasure and pain, I cut things short. I left the session not completely satisfied.

Unfortunately, I didn't have much money with me. I could get another AB session only if I got a decent price and didn't buy her a drink. On a whim, I decided to check out the SG action before I left. There were far fewer SGs than previous nights, but several were better looking than the bar girls. For the first time, I actually got up the nerve to negotiate a session with one. I spoke with *Jessica*, who stands about a third of the way down the alley on the right. We negotiated for $20 sin ropas. My expectations weren't high from what I'd heard about SGs, but the session went very well. She didn't offer BJ and I didn't ask. But, contrary to what I've heard about SGs, she cooperated when I asked to switch positions. I might repeat with Jessica, but I doubt I'll ever spend a lot of time with SGs.

I headed back around 11:00. Again there was no line at all.

*Observation #4*: I had a conversation with one of the girls about the lubricant she was using. I was trying to convey the concern that oil-based lubricants can cause the condom to break. The label did not indicate whether it was oil or water based, but she said the others she had tried had caused breakage, but not this one, so I was hopeful. This was one time when I really wished my Spanish was better.

*Observation #5*: I have noticed that AB has made some small improvements in their rooms. The showers now have liquid soap dispensers and the rooms now all have small trash cans in them. It's not much, but it is nice anyway.

*Question #2*: This is more of a suggestion than a question. One of the big topics on the board right now is the length of wait time at the border crossings (ped and car). I've listed the time it took for each of my crossings above. If someone has time, maybe they could compile what everyone is saying about the wait times at different times of the day and days of the week so we can start to figure out patterns.
