Friday afternoon I picked up # 2 and we found both La Diferencia and Saverio's had some sort of huge private party going, both were jammed, no tables.
Time to try the new Restaurant across the street from Saverio's.
It's Persian food, the owner is Iranian. During dinner he came over and introduced himself, Peymond, I found out later he is also a chiropractor. He is gracious and charming. He will tell you about how he and his Mexican wife came upon the idea for the restaurant.
It's the same caliber as Saverio's, white linen, waiters are dressed in suit and tie , service is excellent. Our waiter spoke English, menu's are available in English as well.
I didn't notice a bar, but we had drinks. One thing, you know how hard it is to find good steak in TJ, even in the good restaurants, Peymond imports his meat from the U.S.
I had a Filet Mingon Kabob and she had a type of sausage. Best steak I've had in TJ so far.
No credit cards yet, cash only. They have only been open a short time. Romantic place for a date, we had salad, entree, two drinks each, and split a dessert, came to about 65.00 without the tip.

I went there recently. The food is excellent. I had the fresh fish of the day (seabass) which was super. The food is fresh and without a lot of fattening sauces.

I was there week before last with Potatohead and two newbies. We went between sessions at AB and CC. Peymond sent us some soup, complimentary. He thanked me profusely for bringing my friends, I told him I wanted him to succeed. TJ needs resturants like this. I 'll try the fish next time.
