Small, less-frequented bar just to the west of AB/Chavelas. I've always had good luck there. Semi-continuous topless dancing. Most of the dancers also work for fichas, and most go to the room too. The have their own hotel upstairs, which is small, and very lightly frequented.

Rooms are $11 - they aren't as nice as Hotel Coahuila, but aren't terrible.

Killed some time there today watching the strip show. They had some chicas that were cute in a nice and sleazy kind of way.

Sometimes when the AB or CC are way too crowded I'll wander in there to the Tejano. Sometimes I'll see some semi-cute chica's who'll even make me feel welcome by giving me a nice smile. Never went upstairs with any chica, never engaged in conversation there with anyone, but I've always been curious about the performance angle.

This place is no more, another victim of gentrification. It was closed for remodeling and has now been renamed La Botana Mens Club.

Reytj

La Botana is a night time only club. Closes Monday and Tuesday I believe now...often change the days....but opens around 6pm. Closes around 2:30, but if you are drinking they will close the door and let you stay in.
