Guys. It has been a really long time since I have been to TJ. Revolution is just not the same street is used to be.
Where is Zona Norte, and is it safe to walk around there?
Thanks guys.

It is best to take a cab the first time. That way you can see where to go in the future.
Walking during the day is OK, but walking at night can be hazardest. Even walking during the day requires some caution when entering La Zona Norte. Always watch you back. Muggings are not an everyday thing, but they do happen.

If you can speak Spanish or are comfortable in Mexico then take the bus from the trolley stop, get of at the first stop and walk with traffic to Revolution. Turn right, cross the street and turn left at the arch. You are in the zone!

Not all buses stop at "the first stop" at Madero & Articulo 123 (1st), some stop at 4th & Revolucion, other ONLY at the 7th street terminal.

All the buses I have picked up by the INS exit that is at the end of the trolley line stopped at Madero & 123. Some of the buses frm WP do not.
