Saw her dance on Monday during the day. She was with a 60 year old White American guy. When she dance, she get the most tips. Young and pretty with great moves. What impressed me the most was the way she treated the guy she was with. When she goes to change for the dance, she would come back and sit with him until she is up and not hide in the bathroom. It was obvious she treated her customers very good. At least this guy who was nothing special and wasn't buying lots of drinks. I was very impress by her looks and attitude. When I return later, she was no way to be found. I looked for her the next night and she was again a no show.

I went to Tropical looking for Alma early Friday evening and was told by a waiter that she was seriously ill, and was done working at Tropical or anywhere else for several months at the very least.

Of course you've got to receive such reports with ultra-skepticism, but I don't know what this waiter's agenda could have been here if he wasn't being truthful (or at least passing a bad rumor that he believed was truthful). A couple of friends had seen her looking and acting just fine the day before.

Does anyone have reliable information?

Erip....If Alma is seriously ill then it happened all of a sudden. On Thursday I saw her dancing and she had a big beautiful smile and was moving on the stage with lots of energy.

I will be disappointed if she is really sick. She is a joy in the club and adds a lot of energy and fun to the atmosphere.

Daytimer, you are one of the friends that I was referring to who saw her looking just fine on Thursday. That's part of what makes the whole story seem not credible. Mesero actually said she'd never work again but conceded under heavy cross examination that maybe she'd be back in a few months. I wonder if perhaps she just switched clubs (graduation to AB?) and he didn't want a gringo customer to bolt for the new venue. Only motive I can think of for him to actually be lying.

When my bailarina perdida bolted from Tropical I got different storys from every mesera, mesero, gerente, bailarina, y fichita I spoke with. She was working today, Wednsday the 16th of Jan.

Saw her on 26 Feb about 2pm. She was as nice as I thought would be. Bought her couple of drinks and then she had do the afternoon floorshow. I asked her to go first and then Afterwards, we went up stairs for a hour. We had dinner together. Then walked with her to the cambio and then the Western Union where she deposited her money. I ended up taking up most of her day. She goes home at 8pm.

She was concern with not drinking too many fichas. After I bought her two, she told the waiter to bring her only water which didn't cost any money. She is one of the better experience I had in TJ. The best was with Paloma (Liz) of Chicago club. That was because Paloma spoked English.

Several things I notice about Alam are that she has very small tits and "man" feet. Her toes are bigger than most! But she her personality more than made up for it. A really nice lady. She did said that she was sick few weeks ago. She lives about a hour from TJ with her 1 1/2 year old baby.

I looked for her over the weekend with no luck.

I'd like to ask for her, but most of the waiters would think I was asking for a different Alma, one I used to screw around with. She did not strip, so I believe the one I know is a different Alma, who still works there. A description of the Alma referred to in the posts above would be appreciated, and where she is from.

The one I know is from Culiacan, the capital of the Pacific coast state of Sinaloa. She's thin, has shoulder-length black hair, and is about 5'-6" in tennis shoes. She is now about 22 years old and has a son, about 2 years old.

She asked for $50, but readily agreed to 40. This was in October, 2001.

She was quite fun, but I don't think I'll screw around with her again. We had several dinner dates and I walked her to her routa taxi several blocks away a few times. I think that is the same Alma that Avisar is thinking of. It is hard to tell how tall with all the different shoes they wear. I wouldn't not believe anything the waiters tell you. I know Alma that dances now and she does have a very young son. In the evenings, she take a taxi home around 8 or 9pm. Many times she would sit and not order more than one or two drinks. I have taken her to Al Capones and other resturants around the area. She is a very nice lady to hang out with. When ever I'm in town, I alway look her up even if it is just to get something to eat. Just nice company!
