WHERE: Blvd. Sanchez Taboada.
DIRECTIONS:Go east on Sanchez. Just before you get to Friday's on your right hand side.
CLOSEST MONGERING: Real Ejecutivo Massage
RATING: 5 STARS
FOOD: Very good selection of steaks and salads. Quality is high and the ingredients fresh. I recommend the Caesar Salad and Filet Mignon. Some standard Mexican fare as well. Pretty good cheesecake.
ATMOSPHERE: Two main dining areas with tables in the middle surrounded by booths. Very rustic decor with a lot of "La Dia de los Muertos" art.
SERVICE: Pretty solid but it gets busy so be patient.
PRICE: Entrees from 7-12 dollars.
One of the better ones in TJ, however the steak I had was poor, the service excellent. I give it a Zagat rating: Food: 17, Service 25.
Better Mexican food at Cien Anos, however the price at La Espanada is lower.

They are noted for their breakfasts and for their steaks.
i agree that the steak was average compare to
U. S. steak house.
Atmosphere and service was excellent
I've been to this place a couple of times....And it is alright the breakfast is the best thing they got going...Dinner was subpar with Cien Anos, La Diferencia and Saverio's all so close I wanted reall ygo here that often. Service was good. But it didn't have the atmosphere.
