WHERE: Sanchez Taboada. In Small Plaza on west side of BLVD. Fairly close to Komasa.
CLOSEST MONGERING: Therapeutica del Rio Massage
FOOD: Brazilian buffet. Contains small salad bar but the big show is the many waiters whom come by your table with long skewers of meat. Examples: Chicken wrapped in bacon, filet mignon, skirt steak, pork tenderloin. Pretty good quality but Brazilian restaurants in San Diego are much better.
ATMOSPHERE: Pretty basic restaurant layout. Pretty good place to take a chica as the format is fun. Maybe take one of your AB Brazilian chicas.
SERVICE: Very good. The waiters are a bit clumsy but very polite.
PRICE: I believe it's $15 for the inclusive dinner but I'm not sure.

This place has a real cool manager, (Philip) who has managed a couple of topless places around town. He is honest and understands the concept of return customers (a rarity in TJ).

Sparks
Pompas do Brasil???? Dude, check your spelling. It is Pampas do Brasil, and yes it is very good. However, its homologue in San Diego, O Rei do Gado (across from Horton Plaza) is better, if more expensive.
Just got back from another Excellent meal in Pampas. I am stuffed. The picanha and the chorizo de pavo are the best cuts. Prices are $150 for men and $140 for women, plus 15%IVA and ISS. Total for two with drinks and tip was $490, or about 50 bucks. Not bad, about half of what Rei do Gado would of cost in SD, and without the long ass drive home.

At one point they had a 50% discount after 8 PM. You had to ask for it however.
