WHERE: 4449 Paseo de los Heroes
DIRECTIONS: East on Paseo, about a block past Zka on your right hand side.
RATING: 4 STARS
FOOD: Excellent selection of various shellfish and fish fillete specialties. Try the Caldo de 7 Mares (Soup with every type of fish), Camarones TJ and Filete Cuichi with Chile Poblano and the Molcajete Campestre. At the end of the meal, your waiter will bring out a dessert tray. Try the "Chocoflan" (Chocolate bundt cake with flan custard filling)
ATMOSPHERE: Valet parking out front. Place looks like a giant palm hut. Extremely high ceiling with fans. A lot of black and white pictures of different parts of Mexico surrounds the vast amount of tables. Some booths in the middle.
SERVICE: Perfect
PRICE: Pretty expensive for TJ. Caldos are $6 and most entrees are about $11-15. Desserts are about $3.
