my buddy and i spent the weekend in San Diego and hit TJ on Fri, Sat, and Sun nights. Hit both AB and CC and left at 4 a.m. on Fri and Sat and 2 a.m. on Sun.

now, i don't want to start a bunch of flame wars, etc... so please don't take my next few comments personally. i would like feedback for sure because i am shocked at what i experienced and pray that it was just a bad weekend to be there.

as a frame of reference, i've been to TJ about 25 times in the last three years with a total of probably 60 or 70 nights in the zona. my preference is a trophy chick with a decent attitude (which is tough to come by on any day) or notch below trophy (which is readily available on any day - except for now). grecia was always great, i liked a couple of the michelle's, sophia in her better days, etc... Also, this was my first trip post 9/11 events.

now comes the tough part. in three nights, i found one gal that peeked my interest (at AB). in the past, i've actually had trouble choosing which one to take because there were so many. basically i wouldn't have fucked any of the girls i saw in AB or CC even if they paid me (and i say that with confidence, these gals were heinous).

basically, i need help from you guys to (i) get me back in the saddle - i.e. perhaps it was just a one time thing or (ii) confirm that the chick quality has dropped significantly.

right now, it looks like i'll be referring to TJ in the past tense in all of my future discussions related to TJ. i live in SF and a two night run to TJ costs me around $1,000 when you add up the flight, the hotel, and 4 or 5 gals. i'd rather take a couple vacation days from work and do a 4 or 5 night run in BKK or Amsty (I did both of those runs this year). on a per day cost basis, it is equal to my TJ cost.

so, to get to the point, am i all fucked up or is the scene down there totally different than it was before 9/11. why even go down there for such poor quality. i'm not mr. ladies man but i can drag down a dirt skank here in SF for free at the current TJ quality level. do i need to go elsewhere in tj ? maybe pussy cat club ?

i look forward to commentary. my SD buddy says i'm all fucked up in the head and i say he's dropped his standards to well below average.

p.s. the trip was so pathetic that i left a day early to get back to SF and hit my favorite massage parlor to get some decent action.

I know how you feel. Right now TJ does suck, at least the selection does. I almost gave up last Friday night but ended up finding a good one so you never know. Just realise that it's winter and many of the chicas went home. I go every week and never seen it so bad....

Well, a lot of the notables are absent, thats for sure. However, I was down three times last week, twice in the early afternoon when the fewest number of chica's are there because they are just showing up for work. I have a high standard, but it's not always for looks, mostly a high caliber experience. Some of the best looking chica's are the worst fucks. I'll take a 2nd tier chica in looks, I'm talking a 6 or 7 if I can get a 9 performance rather than a 9 in looks and a 6 performance. Anyway I had no problem picking one and getting great quality each time.

One was a new chica to me, Kenya, outstanding, full GFE.Dancer, beautiful face, big boobs, nice legs. She is a little thick around the middle, so that disqualifies her above a 7 for most people.

You were there Fri, Sat. and Sunday,and still couldn't find anything you liked ????! Even now as bad as things are I always find someone worth doing. Shit, Tania is there, Candie as well, probably older than you like. Jessica {Rabbit} is there, she is trophy material.

Tomas, shut the fuck up! Come to the bowels of Mexico and THEN complain! You have NO IDEA how great TJ is!!!

TJ has really dried up since 9/11. Nowhere near the numbers of gringo going down (tourists or mongers). The border cross is a nightmare. Money is tight. The rateros start coming out in force and the police start looking for opportunities to score. Add to that the normal slowness around holiday time. The only upside is that with less competition you get a better chance to actually snag that occasional gem.

Also Tomas you should point out that it's been YEARS since you've done anyone out of AB/CC! lol

I must disagree. My buddy and I were down there this weekend and AB seemed good to me.

I'm glad someone else posted this because I hate being the bad guy all the time. The last two Friday nights, I went to CC and AB and was more dissapointed than I can ever remember.

When Tania and Candie start to look desirable...I know the selection is horrid. Last winter and the winter before was not even close to being this bad. Most of the hotties at TB were scared away by the predatorial meseros and AB is a joke. CC has about 2 or 3 hotties on any given night but the "regulars" have them occupied all night.

When the quantity of quality chicas diminish, it is near to impossible to get GFE sessions. Lately, even the street girls look more desirable than 80% of the club girls...now that's bad....real bad.

Lately I have been going to downtown San Diego to party and I have realized that I'd rather put forth the effort to take home a hottie for free than pay for a fat mexicana. I know it sounds pretty harsh but there it is...

I have not been to AB since mid-December and I always go in the afternoon on a Monday or Thursday and there was never a shortage of beautiful chicas to fuck. I am all for doing a trophy and have done most of the daytime trophies in AB, but there are many 2nd tier chicas that once they get there clothes off they are total foxes and nymphos in the rack. My current fav is one of those types and we see each other everyother week now outside of AB. All I can say is that Buick's standards must be way above mine.

well, it sounds like many of us are a little disappointed with the current situation. i will admit that i may have gotten a bit carried away when i mentioned that i wouldn't have fucked any of the gals. i was still reeling from the devastation of my trip. in truth, there were a couple of gals in both AB and CC but, as one poster noted, it is just too tough to get them.

in the past, i could sit and relax with a few beers and really enjoy the selection process and with at least a dozen "doable" gals on the floor at any one time. Now it seems, the second you see a potential chick, you have to jump out of the booth and snag her immediately or you may never get the chance. maybe i need to adjust my mongering style in order to get with the program.

I am a picky, stubborn son of a bitch so i'm sure some of you guys are not having the same issues. i'm glad that some can still go to TJ and have a great time. maybe things will get better over the summer as the girls return. my favorite strip joint in SF is empty also, all the gals took off until the economy gets better.

in the meantime, i'm thinking BKK in May in order to keep my mental state in decent order.

oh, one more thing, the gal that i chose at AB was Marbel from Sinaloa. Tall, thin blond with tattoo on lower back. sounds like the same Marbel that is written up on this board, although one poster rated her english an F. she may have picked it up a bit as we were able to converse fairly well and i speak no spanish.

anyway, for you regulars, that should give you an idea of the quality i'm after. Marbel is great and i don't want much less than that.
