Anyone know anything about drop-in gyms located near la Zona Norte? I'm planning an extended trip and want to keep my workout schedule.
Thanks,
The Senator
There is a huge gym along one of those side streets which runs east and west. It's on the south side of the street, just one block west of Avenida Revolucion. I think it's 6th street. I'm not sure, but let me make a couple of phone calls and I'll post the correct info. if I can find out.
Anyone else know?
Master Bates.

There are several places in downtown TJ. I don't have the details because I don't patronize them but you'll have no problem once you're here. However these are no frills places. There are two places on 3rd Street and one on 2nd. Samantha used to work out occasionally at one of them.

Senator, if you're looking for weights only, you can use the Bosco Gym at 8th and Negrete. I think they charge 3 bucks or so. It's by the Villa Zaragoza. There is also another gym by 8th and Constitucion or Nino Heroes. That place is open Monday through Friday and has cardio equipment. You can also use the gym equipment at the New Body Gym and massage. That's included with their "massage" packet.
I was bored and looking something to do before I got a massage. I decided to try working out at Bosco Gym. The gym is located a block and a half away from La Villa Zaragoza. They are located on Negrete Street between 8th and 9th Streets.
Bosco Gym offers a variety of free weights, machines and some cardio in the form of stationary bikes. They charge $3 per workout and also have showers and lockers in the facility. They charge $3 a workout per day. Not a bad alternative if you're jonesing for a workout.

I wonder if Bosco owns this place.
A lot of mongers could use this gym me being one of them
thanks for the info
Milky
Yes, there is a bodybuilder named Bosco who owns the joint. There are news and sports articles of him on the gym's walls.
But the best part is the number of women who work out in this gym. I thought that it would be all guys, but I saw at least 4-5 attractive women working out when I was there.
Also, most public baths charge more than 3 bucks.
Sounds like a good deal just for the showers.
The Bosco Gym also has lockers. Bring your own combination lock if you plan to use the showers and need to lock up your stuff. I just walk down from La Villa Zaragoza, do my workout, and then go back to my room for the shower. So I don't need the lockers, but some of you may want to use this option.

Hey Milkshake, you mean to tell me that I am not the one and only Bosco in TJ? BTW my favorita Valerie/Stephania has told me that she works out at a local gym. I would love to watch her pump iron some day after she is done pumping my iron...Bosco
