Laundromats
The place on Avenida Ninos Heroes (west side) between Callejon Coahuila (The "Alley") and Articulo 123 (1st).
Stay away !!! I repeat, stay completely away from this place !!!
While I was there (around 2PM Sunday), two (incredibly ugly) TVs were there. One of them asked me for a quarter, then a dollar. I said no thank you.
It started murmuring (in Spanish) stuff like "This ain't your country, you pull that shit..." and various threats (that I couldn't really understand all of). The second TV stayed out of it.
I just got further away and didn't look in its direction. Eventually my laundry was done, and I left.
Does anyone know of another laundromat near the zona ???

As opposed to in the zona? When I used to stay at Hotel Leyva I did my laundry at the place on Callejon Coahuila next to Hotel Najera.
Senor Pauncho: Do you live on Articulo 123?...
I'm pretty sure there is a laundromat directly across from Hotel Manhattan, right next to Hotel San Ysidro...

I've been staying on "Ratero Row", that stretch of Articulo 123 (1st) between Revolucion & Constitucion. Thanks for your replies, everyone.
I've gone back to the original laundromat.
I pay 40 pesos a load and leave my clothes.
I tip 10 pesos, and the attendant gives me incredibly prompt service.
I'm in & out in 30 seconds max.
(The place next to Hotel Najera is sometimes closed.)
