Plaza Mundo Divertido:
Just off the via rapida is the big Plaza Mundo Divertido. It is a shopping mall, with a cinema, a bowling alley (the best in TJ) and a small amusement park with its own small coaster.
To get there take the via rapida towards La Mesa, the plaza it easily found to the right, about 2-3 miles past Costco.

I went there I couple of times, once with a date and her child, which turned out the best thing to do with a chica and her offspring. There is so much to do for the kids and in contrast to the US the rides in the amusemant park are cheap.

Another time I took this girl and her child to the movies. The Cinemark at this Plaza has many kids movies (Wednesdays are 2for1).

Of course these movies should be avoided at all cost, unless you are trying to charm your way into the bed of a chica with kid. In that situation it is a great date.

I also recommend the bowling alley (Bol Bol Bowling) although the lanes are often booked at night. I don't know if they take reservations.
