I would like to know more about Ochoas nite club in TJ. So far Ive heard the women that go there are mid 20's up to thier 40's. I hope someone will post thier experiences about that place. Im interested in meeting local chicas and maybe finding a girlfriend. Im open to suggestions on other night clubs as well.
I believe Las pulgas and Baby rock have a younger crowd.

Hi Milkman
I plan on going to las pulgas very soon. I have no doubt that there are alot of hotties that go there, and ofcourse the reason Im going there is to meet them. But, from reviewing some posts on the board I hear that the chicas flock in groups. Is this true? Are they difficult to meet or are they pretty receptive to an american that can speak spanish? I post this just because Im curious.
Thanks

Come on guys. That still doesn't answer my question.
"Any recomendations on salsa clubs?" BTW, that's to go with your gal, not to find one.

Harold, this is a board for whore mongers, not dance lessons.

Harold sorry My comment was a joke I didnt see your Previous post.
There is one club behind Pueblo Amigo that claims to play live salsa.
also Eclipse plays salsa from time to time.
No club plays more than 10 percent salsa.
at least from what I have seen.
Ask Robert X he is the night club king
take care

Masterbates,
I never said anything about dance lessons. Go tell that to Senor Pauncho! Why can't everyone be as helpful Milkman? Thanks Milkman.

Milkman ~ "i stay away from baby rock becuase i do not want to leave crippled"
Is this place dangerous or do people like to start fights or something? I've been there only once in 97 and it was great fun. They were rumored to have a salsa night there back then. I think it was sundays.

Hi Socrates
A few years back the speaker/lighting scafolding fell down from the ceiling and nearly killed a few people. One was from San Diego and was permantely crippled. the owner/s filed bankruptcy shortly after and did not pay anything to the injured victims

OTHER PLACES?
Here's what I'm wondering: Revolucion, Zona Rosa, La Mesa, get lots of business from gringos. But
TJ is a really big city with lots of neighborhoods. Think about how many strip clubs there are in LA and in how many different neighborhoods. Is TJ zoned so they can only do this business in a few places? If not, there must be dozens of clubs in totally different areas off the beaten path? Those would be frequented mostly by the locals, and perhaps a lot cheaper?

There are a couple of things to consider when venturing out beyond the typical tourist areas in order to meet women. One is you really need to be able to effectively communicate in Spanish. Contrary to popular belief, not all Mexicans speak English. Not only do you need to be able to speak, but you need to be able to hold a valid conversation.
Also, not all Mexican women are ready to jump at the first sign of a 'Gringo'. Women at these places are often professional business people and approach a situation with caution. I have met someone in the past at Ochoa's (that is someone that I have slept with), but I had to buy her and her girlfriends a round of drinks and some flowers in order to get myself invited over to the table. In reality, I have had more luck finding women at random on Yahoo and MSN chat than hunting at a bar. I have also been lucky meeting women walking down the street or in a restaurant.
You have to understand that in Mexico, it is similar to the US, in that when a women is at a bar or club, her guard is up. She expects a man to hit on her. It's when you approach her when she isn't expecting it, that you catch her in a vulnerable moment. You see a woman in a store and you think she is attractive, go talk to her. If you get shot down, hey it didn't cost you anything. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I guarantee that you will have ten times the success as compared to mongering in a club. You meet for lunch once and you hit it off, then wham-bam, you are taking her to La Mansion everytime you visit.
