Ritmo?

I was just getting to the point of understanding his Philybonics when he dropped off the face of the Earth. I vaguely recall that he planned a trip to TJ in July.

By Progman on Thursday, July 05, 2001 - 04:58 pm:  Edit

Explorer,

Ritmo is alive and (well??) in Philly. He sent me an email about a week ago. He didn't say whether he was still making it out to TJ.

I miss Trenchent!

By Doctorgood on Friday, July 06, 2001 - 12:31 am:  Edit

I miss Yoamochicas also and it kinda appears
like he got into some trouble. I hope he
is ok and is posting or keeping up with the
board under a different handle. He posted a
really good trip report for Reynosa-in fact
is was a pioneering effort that the guys in
Texas will mainly benefit from but guys everywhere
will benefit from the idea of checking the parks
for any women hanging around and that it would
be easy to meet them...also I never thought about
asking street vendors where the chicas are working... and Yoamochicas tried to warn of the
possible dangers in traveling by yourself in Mexico. His
Reynosa report is on Redsnake. If you are out
there Yoamochicas-buena Suerte amigo...

Doctorgood

You must be one of the only guys on the board that hasn't gotton an e-mail from his wife!

By Doctorgood on Friday, July 06, 2001 - 09:37 am:  Edit

Yeah SHADOW, I have wondered if Yoamochicas wife
was a bazzare convoluted hoax. I have not thought
about that in quite a while...ah another trip
down memory lane

By Redongdo on Friday, July 06, 2001 - 10:19 am:  Edit

I think Yoamo is fine. I don't have hard evidence of course (or none that I'll admit to!)but I went street girl hunting with him a year or so ago and believe he's kicking around.

By Hippie on Friday, July 06, 2001 - 02:41 pm:  Edit

I have also been wondering about Rock and Cheng Ho. I never met either of them, to my knowledge, but I liked reading their posts.

By Redongdo on Friday, July 06, 2001 - 02:53 pm:  Edit

Rock's ok, got an e-mail from him yesterday.

Anyone keeping in touch with TJRearcher(not a monger)? She hasn't logged in since 6/22. I'd like to know what happened to Cheng Ho as well. I have very strong suspicions Trenchie is here.

By Erip on Saturday, July 07, 2001 - 05:40 pm:  Edit

Ritmo's TJ trip was in June and he posted a couple of times from there. I'm looking forward to him getting back into rhythm.

I miss KRICO too...and Oliver :)

How about Eureka! Eureka!? He used to have interesting posts on Redsnake but I've never seen him here...

-Superman-

By Doctorgood on Sunday, July 08, 2001 - 01:26 pm:  Edit

Superman I was worried about Eureka also until
I noticed his writing style and thought process in some very good articles he has wrote under different handles and each time I would post wondering where he was he would post something
that would let me know he was still around-also
Rick Felix knows him personally and vouchs that
Eureka is well and still around.

By Superman on Sunday, July 08, 2001 - 06:36 pm:  Edit

DoctorG, I've had about 6 guys email me that Eureka has a new ID on the board. After reading some of his posts under the new ID, I'm sure they're right...

-Superman-

By Doctorgood on Sunday, July 08, 2001 - 10:12 pm:  Edit

Superman I sent you an email minutes ago on the
subject but I was wondering what portions of
Eureka writing or subjects did you like-since
you and I seem to agree about Eurekas writing

writing going on -I will never forget one story
he did-it was a great classic

Seismo, Westfargo is taking a vacation from some
of the ########## that were being a pain in the ass. He is still around and probably after
a rest will be back with some of his unique and one of a kind entertainment (LOL).

Hey Diego, what ever happens to all those dead dogs in the streets that you talk about? Do the crows eat them or do they get tossed along the side and just rot or what?

By x on Friday, July 13, 2001 - 02:06 am:  Edit

Whatever happened to a soft drink named Bubble Up?

By Toehead on Friday, July 13, 2001 - 06:31 pm:  Edit

While in the city the dead dogs (sometimes) will be picked up and deposited in the city dump to rot, outside the citys they just rot. Often you'll come across a paw sticking up out of the ground in the rare event someone actually buried the dog. I was hiking with some kids in San Luis (Sonora) when I came across 4 paws sticking straight up out of the ground, I was somewhat surprized, the kids could care less. A dogs life is not an easy one in Mexico.

"what ever happens to all those dead dogs in the streets that you talk about"

FWIW I've been living in Tijuas now for a year and a half and have seen just one dead dog. Of course one is one too many. I had to walk by it on my way to the zona. No one ever came to pick it up.

Whatever happened to the Coco Club?

By San_Puto on Sunday, July 15, 2001 - 04:40 pm:  Edit

What's this I hear about Leebo?

Someone said he married a TJ fav.
Someone else told me he became a stand up comic, but I also heard he was way too lazy for that and was waiting for sit-down comedy to become the next big thing.

Then again, he might have gotten tired of reading the same things over and over and simply changed his name.

Nah.

By The Senator on Thursday, July 19, 2001 - 05:17 pm:  Edit

I'm not dead yet! Between working and hanging around AB I haven't had any time to post. Even as I post THIS I should be packing for my next trip. See you at AB.

Whatever happened to Shiva? SP? Douglass? Border Bandit? Doc? Kodak? Mark (herbs)? Clamato? Friggin Dope?... to name a few.

An It takes a village kind of guy,

Out-of-Towner

By Ptom on Thursday, July 19, 2001 - 09:11 pm:  Edit

Frig, is happily married...not a zona chica.

Douglass, i'm thinking cirrhosis of the liver

Shiva, finally married that sweet indian girl he'd been craving...shortly after that she burned him alive in his bed for being such a freaking asshole.

Mark, abducted by aliens

By Tight_Fit on Thursday, July 19, 2001 - 10:54 pm:  Edit

SP runs a board called DexterHorn where he promotes his guided tours of the German FKK clubs.

Douglas sends me an email every so often when he is in my area.

Ptom:

One of the funniest posts I've ever read.

A Still laughing kind of guy,

Out-of-Towner

By El Cabrio on Friday, July 20, 2001 - 06:18 am:  Edit

It was Dougllas with 2 L's, wasn't it?

And wouldn't the aliens have returned Mark after they got tired of him? Like within 24 hours? Wasn't he the guy who was always posting that some cabbie tried to pick up some TV's while he was in the cab and the cabbie then asked him for a hand job? So maybe he was abducted by a cabbie again.

By Erip on Friday, July 20, 2001 - 01:10 pm:  Edit

Clamato was domesticated and retired.

Kodack remains stealthily among us.

By cf/ja on Monday, July 23, 2001 - 03:42 pm:  Edit

ReyTJ, You don't drive over to Playas often then. There's 2 or 3 new dead dogs every week (and an occasional cat) on the road between Soler and Playas. They just rot there until you can't recognize them. Someone may throw a little dirt on them to cut down the smell, saw a guy burning one a month or two ago, macabe sight.

Whatever happened to LAKERS? He used to be a biggie on the Redsnake board. He got flamed a lot and stirred up a lot of crap but he had very entertaining and informative posts.

Also, there was a guy on that board that used to bring a whole bag of sex toys with him to entertain the girls with. He had incredible detailed posts. What was his name?

By TJHombre on Tuesday, July 24, 2001 - 12:20 pm:  Edit

He has his own web site now, linked from the Redsnake board.

Bumpy settled down I think, I'm sure someone else knows.
