All this time I thought you preferred the new models to the old classics.

The MGTD was of course a classic, but not quite on par with Coventry's sleeker, more exotic Jaguar XK120.

The MGTD never seemed particularly sporty to me, although it, along with the 120, began the postwar sports car craze in America back in the late 40's and early 50's. The 120 is more of a beast, and it is still a blast to drive once it gets up to speed. In fact, I drove one last month.

Anyway, I had summer fling with a 37 year old woman when I was 19 and in college. She taught me many things that have subsequently helped me become the legendary international GFE machine that I am.
