Ever wonder how a SG chooses her location to stand? The scenery, neighbors, proximity to a good restaurant? It affects her pocketbook quite directly. How did Fluer ever choose the Paris Hotel on 1st street? Imagine how much richer Sonia (Constitution & Art) would be if she had picked the Cascades entry. Hall of Famer Sophia had a terrible & dangerous location on Ninos Heroes. Hottie Jaquelinn of the Mini hotel might have choosen a spot to camp out where she didn`t have stiff competition from Yolanda, Isabella, Erica, & Alejandra/Jackie. Great Elisa is simply to near the Adelita bar. Are they assigned a spot on the pavement when they step off the bus on day one?

I don't know, I have never gotten a straight answer on this.
I do know that once they choose a venue, their exact spot is chosen for them by the owner, ie where they stand in front of Cascadas is determined by Cascadas management.

This question how always intriqued me also.
Best I have been told is like above, that management decides.
Jtull1,
With all the SGs you have done and since you speak fluent Spanish you should start asking all your chicas.

Mere speculation here, but I think the hotel probably has a hand in actively recruiting some of the SGs and setting the rules for the SGs since the SGs bring them most of their take home. Some hotels have a strict policy about the SGs going to other hotels and others are laxed.
On another note, who enforces the no step rule. Those SGs could easily reach my shirt if they took a tiny step foward whilst reaching out.lol

I think they get off the bus and walk directly to the spot right next to the amiga from their home town who told them during the last visit to the babies back home, that the streets and alleys of the zona norte are paved with gold.

Erip, I don't doubt your take.
Another version from SGs is that they are "recruited" by a female friend who buys them a one way ticket from the home town, but tells them that the plan is to get a legit job in TJ. Next thing, they are brought to the ZN and told to start working. Since they never ascribe a motive to their female friend, I assume this is a bogus story and the real story is that they are recruited by a padrote who tells them he will rescue them from the home town and get them a good job in TJ.

What Explorer says is what I have heard most frequently: from waiters, SGs, bar girls and hotel people.
