Randy, does Motel Alaska have any kind of heat? TV? Adequate hot water?
I've always been curious about whether this place was habitable. It has got an ideal location with a parking lot. It was definitely not a good choice until they renovated that stretch of Revo between 123 and Coahuila when they built the arch...lots of bad guys and down and outers occupying what was then one of the more adventurous blocks of the zona norte for a gringo to occupy.

I can pretty much guarantee you that they don't have heat. I believe the Hotel Nelson does however or at least they did when I stayed there a decade ago.

I liked this place because of location. I stayed here in the spring of '93 for three days. It had adequate hot water and is very quiet. I asked to see the room before I paid (which I recommend and check the doorlock). I doubt if it had heat and it seems to me I had a tv (old).
I always bring my own sheets and pillow cases and also a couple of fluffy towels. For my trip in late March, I need to find a replacement for Cascadas.

Check out the gitls that live at this hotel. Plenty do. You may also see gringos that have problems making thier stay here as well.
Watch out for the age challenged girls here.
This hotel would do great business if it was closer to the zona the prices are pretty good and I have heard the same quiet rumors about this place. Much better than Hotel Pee Pee which is across the street from La Tropa where all the boyfriends of certian La Tropa girls sell thier drugs

Alaska was my first ever hotel in tj. if you are driving it is great. la tropa girls will go there, as might some revo club girls. but forget SG's and club girls in zona norte; I've tried. Not every room has a tv (television, in this case) so ask for one. if you have a car, ask for ground floor room where you can be near your car; they tend to try to give the upper floor rooms to gringos. Good place, just don't try to bring SG's there.

Milkman,
What are gitls???
You may also see gringos that have problems making thier stay here as well. (oh yeah, how come?)
Watch out for the age challenged girls here. (old fucks at this hotel, hmm news to me)
Your post reminds me suspiciously of those that Ben used to write when he had to much to dwink.
Check out the gitls that live at this hotel. Plenty do.
(This is exciting if a gitl is a girl then maybe I'll find another gitl to love soon at my new home Hotel Alaska.)
I am hoping to see an appearance of the sage from the east. I would like another performance of "the zona according to Boston Bill". Send him my best.
