Here is first draft:
-Click Here for the Street Girl Map-
This is the first draft of a Street Girl Map I've been working on. It's taken a lot of effort, so I hope you guys like it. The final version will likely include a lot of links. Please post any suggestions here.
Hombre: Current map is linked above.

Outstanding! This is an excellent piece of work which is a big help in identifying the Zona. Good work.

Ahhhh .... this was a project I was planning to tackle for many moons, thanks for doing this!
By Explorer8939 on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 - 12:09 pm: Edit |
I am guessing that you plan to color code the chicas for day, night or whatever other shift should be indicated, otherwise the map will get very confusing.
By Masterbates on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 - 08:17 pm: Edit |
Hey, but wait a minute....there's something missing. You haven't listed Explorer's favorite hangout, the Kin Kle Bar!
By Harold_johnson on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 - 09:36 pm: Edit |
Why are some red while others are blue??
By Curious on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 - 09:54 pm: Edit |
Great job. I would like to see the bars across from Adelitas identified as well, even thou that isn't really street girl territory, it would add to the overall value of the map.

This is great. Excellent work.
I'm curious as to why you call it a Street Girl Map, and not simply a map of the Zona. It already has Adeitas and Chicago shown (although maybe they function as landmarks).
Are you planning to add links to the Street Girl reviews?
By Jesse on Thursday, January 22, 2004 - 05:37 am: Edit |
HJ
The red denotes hotels, blue are clubs or other landmarks.

Where are the street girls on the map? Mark some of the famous ones at least, like Monica, Guadalupe, Rosa Maria, Areceli (if she comes back).
By Hombre on Thursday, January 22, 2004 - 01:25 pm: Edit |
Explorer/Chiquito, I highly doubt we'll add SGs specifically on this particular map. Jtull1 could personally place over 200 dots, and that's only for daytime. The map would get overloaded too quickly and become confusing. Marking the famous ones might be a good idea, I'll have to consider that. But then it may seem confusing to some why we only have a few identified.
Curious, we plan on a complete map separate from the SG map. We want to keep them as easy to understand and read as possible.
B.demille, yes AB & CC are only to serve as landmarks. Many links will be added, we're working on how they will be incorporated.
HJ, Jesse is correct. Did you get my email?
Thanks for all your comments everyone. Remember, this is just the first public draft and is a work in progress.
By Jesse on Thursday, January 22, 2004 - 05:01 pm: Edit |
Hombre is right, it would be too congested to mark the girls on the map. Just refer to the coordinates, such as G 8, when describing where they stand.

Also 123 has a few more hotels than you mention.
Good work.
Thanks. Jan

Just incredible Hombre! And I'm sure this is just the start.
If the SG's were identified by number instead of name would the map still be too crowded?
A Very impressed kind of guy,

Kumbala on Ninos Heros is missing (mid block); Paris hotel on first is missing; two side by side hotels (names not visable or known yet)across from the Paris hotel are missing; Los Monitos is missing to the right of Chicago Club; Those three 1st St. hotels are between Constitution & Ninos Heroes streets. Thanks, JTull. Adelita.

Los Monitos next to CC is missing; Kumbala Hotel on NHeroes is missing; The Paris Hotel on 1st street is missing; 2 un-named Hotels side by side are also missing. They are across the street from the Paris hotel. These on 1st street are between Constitution & NHeroes avenue. Thanks, JTull. Adelita.

To Admin.: Sorry made a dup report. Tull Adelita.
By Jtull1 on Monday, January 26, 2004 - 09:27 pm: Edit |
Filling in more impt. map info: 2 hotels on 1st st.- across from the Paris Hotel are named "Hotel 273" (about 20 chicas work outta that one); & Hotel Tropical next to it. (I`m guessing about 12 work outta that one). Tull. Adelita.

Isn't there a "hotel" between Ribera and Hacienda? I hesitate calling it a hotel because the entrance is actually an alleyway that eventually becomes an open "courtyard" as you walk east, with rooms on the ground level (to the right). To the left, you can look up and see the second floor residences of an adjacent building.
That's where I initially met Rosa Marie during my last TJ venture. There was also a very short but very cute faced brunette SG standing at the alley opening that night who was dressed in jeans and a pullover shirt (she may have had a bit of gold or silver in one of her teeth).
An SG kind of guy,
Ootie

By Jtull1 on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 - 08:31 pm: Edit |
17 L would be the Taurino bar/hotel. Hotel is up long flight of stairs. Been up there once myself. Altho the girls called that hotel the Diamonte, (extension?).
By Explorer8939 on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 - 06:18 am: Edit |
The hotel above the Taurino is indeed part of the Diamante hotel. There are lockers up there that the SGs put their stuff in while they are working.

Hotel Teresa should be "Cuartos teresa"

How about clickable part of the map for photos to pop up?

A contact of mine told me that underage chicas are working the corner where Hotel Michoacan #2 & Hotel Hacienda are on the map.
So be careful. According to him some customers have been arrested.

Fellows...I apologize but I failed to get more SG location pics in my last trip to TJ.
I was ready to shoot when I saw the cops harrassing another hombre cuz he was taking pics of the alley. I was not in the mood to deal...so I passed. Until another time.
