She was the former professional dancer who had a back injury ruin her career, as I remember her telling me. She used to stand around and start moving to the music, and isolate parts of her body for tips. I can remember more than one chica getting upset because she would steal all the attention off of whoever was dancing at the time. She was very entertaining and had exceptional coordination.

Her back injury caused her to take pain killers which made her seem flighty at best, and I am sure it eventually took her out of the business. I had hoped that a doctor somewhere finally operated on her and put her out of her misery.

I remember she always used to wear flight or fatigue pants with the baggy pockets....and I also remember her showing me some moves that put Michael Jackson's moonwalking to shame.

Of course, you might be talking about someone entirely different but the one I am thinking of hasn't been in AB for about two years.

I wouldn't call her thin either, but her body was nice enough. More importantly her attitude and performance were well above average. Those that couldn't speak Spanish could feel more comfortable because she spoke English.

She did always dressed down, though. As Futbolito pointed out the big pants were her style, and not what we'd normally consider sexy, although if you watched her move you might think otherwise.

I actually thought I saw her the other night, but as I got a better angle I realized it wasn't her. It's been years since I've seen her as well.

I missed an opportunity with her on my first (second, actually) trip to TJ. I met her in AB and drank a few shots of tequila with her. We were DFKing madly by the upper bar when I proposed an allnighter. She agreed but never came back from "getting her stuff". A short while later my good amigo hooked up with her and they were engaged for awhile before realization set in (for both of them) and they ended their relationship. I saw her awhile after that (still about 2+ years ago!) and she remembered the "no show" incident (or she just did it to a lot of guys!).

Well, I feel less "pressured" if the (in)famous d'Art was stood up as well. Almost makes me feel the same when I saw the equally (in)famous El Fuego spend a good hour walking back & forth from AB to CC waiting for a certain chica to be released from the gringo she was leasing herself to. Finally when she was done, she walked by El F and told him that she was tired and left the building!
