Arrived in the Alley on Monday April 26 for what was supposed to be two days of business meetings and focused mongering in the Alley.

Went looking for Diana (de Culiacan) but she was nowhere to be found. Went to the Carreta for a beer and met a chica named "Lorena," 24 yrs, 5'-4 with black shoulder length hair etc. About a 7 body. No sooner than I said hello there was a beer on the table for her. I said OK, before I pay for your beer, will you go to the hotel with me? She said NO PROBLEM so I paid for the beer (2 for me) then another then another. I noticed a name bracllet on her arm with "Martha" on it. She quickly said that her name was Martha Lorena Cisneros Grande. When we "moved to a booth" I noticed the waqitress move with us and she sat in front of us. Bought another beer and said "OK, let's go!" but the waitress (an older lady, short and fat) said no. . .buy the girl another beer. I replied no, I have no more money for beer.

It was like turning off the fuck switch. The girl said "Excuse me for a moment" and got up and then wandered around the place for a while finally settling at the bar with a taco, not back at the booth where I just spent my funds on her beer and what about going to the hotel? Was supposed to be "NO PROBLEM."

I went to the bar and remonded her that she said she would go with me so what's up with that? She indicated that she had to go the bathroom but took 15 minutes and when she returned, she ingnored me. Now That really hurt my feelings. 20 minutes earlier she was all over me and now that the money was "gone" she had no interest.

Now I'm not surprised or hurt nor was I out of money. I was going to pay her well for her services and I'm glad she didn't make it the room and then started this shit.

Jeez, I was clear about going to the hotel before I paid for the first beer. I guess we need to call the bluff a little earlier but I know who she is now and I won't see the same girl again (it's the next one I'm worried about).

I even asked the bartender to translate for me afterward so there would be no misunderstanding but after numerous tips and beers he didn't want to get involved. So there. The rats 1, AlleyKat 0.

Decided to go to El Pollo based on some earlier reports and sat in a booth. 5 seconds later "Jamileth" came over and sat. Little extra padding on this creature and sure looks different out of uniform but was very sexy and clearly wanted to fuck. The waiter was very prompt in bringing all kinds of stuff to the table which I promptly sent back except for the beer.

I asked straight up for the deal on the girl and he said a bucket of beer for $25., $25 for the room and $80 for the girl for one hour. I told him I had only $125. and he said OK, would issue an hour ticket for the room and the girl.

By this time she and the rest of the girls were a bit tipsy. I was amused watching them fall of the bars on the dance floor while trying to do their dances. Twirl Twirl, invert, PLUNK! Man, it was funny to watch.

Got to the room, she was about 5 minutes behind, slipped out of her dress, mounted the old feller and in about 6 minutes got up to go to the BR. She started throwing up big time all over the place. Clearly sick I got a towel and started wiping her face and I told her it was OK, we'll do it another time (expecting to sort it out with the manager). WRONGO BONGO.

Not quite 30 minutes into my "hour" the hotel guy knocked on the door and said time was up.

I found my watch and looked incredulously (a word I learned from Farsider) to discover that this guy was 1/2 hour early. I told him so and he said "sorry, you need to take it up with the bar, you have only 1/2 hour."

Got the lady dressed and proceeded to take it up with the manager who just blew me off. (When they say "wait here," it's over and you might as well go home.)

So I got ripped by the El Pollo. Zona 2, AlleyKat 0. By this time I was about $225.00 light in the wallet. Both times I had my head on straight, was not being over anxious, was being careful not to get fucked on the front end only to get fucked on the back end both times. Jeez. What in this world are we going to do about these places?

Went back to the Alley, looked for Diana, Monserrat, Monica, Marisol, NOBODY was out.

I checked into the Pueblo Amigo hotel (5star) close to the border. $117.00 for the night but man this is a 5 star hotel all the way. No problems with chicas as long as you register them. Too bad I didn't have a chica to take back.

I UNDERSTAND that the game is to part the gringos from their money but I also thought the gringo usually getsw laid in some way. Well, the Gingo always gets fucked, he just might not get laid. Trust no-one, not the girls, not the waiters not anyone. Especially not the street boys. They get a commission on every hustle. You're better off making a deal with a SW who is clean and getting what you pay for or calling someone to the room.

If you GOT BUCKS then you can avoid a lot of the problems by just arranging the eveing with an escort I guess.

Bottom line, El Pollo is a rip and Carreta is a shark pool. At least for me.

Diste en el clavo-You hit the nail right on the head. Although this site no longer has a lot of current info on the Tijuana scene, the archives are a treasure of info.

Among veterans it is well known that La Carreta is primarily a ficha bar. Since they have no attached hotel there is no incentive for management to have their girls go to the room. In fact the overwhelming majority of girls there are probably 'damas de piso' ie they receive a salary in addition to their comission on fichas to entertain clients on the premises.

This is not to say there aren't exceptions. I seem to recall you said that Diana the girl you hooked up with on a previous occasion worked at La Carreta. Other than a jealous 'galan' there is nothing to stop a chica from going to the room with you after her shift.

CJ, some of your past posts of ripoffs have "newbie mistake" written all over them, but I have to say that these incidents, particularly the El Pollo matter, could probably happen to alot of us and you were victimized in an ugly way.

As to the La Carreta incident, I agree with Reytj that if you knew that this bar was a hardcore ficha joint along with an understanding of how ficheras operate, you may have skipped it as a sex destination.

However, I think a different approach could also lead to a better result with the same chica. It doesn't save you any ficha money - in fact it may cost you for another drink or two, but if you are turned on to the chica, it gives you a much better chance to get under her ropa interior.

Most hardcore ficha bar chicas are wary of gringos who only want sex. They don't think of themselves as AB putas and don't want to be treated that way. So, don't make a demand up front that a hotel session is a condition of a single drink. Instead, take the risk of buying one...maybe two or three drinks and spend the time that you drink with her trying to make her comfortable with you and trying to develop some sympatico that makes a hotel session with you come about in a more natural flow. She may very well fuck you over rather than fuck you after the 2-3 drinks, but on the other hand she may get in the mood to get naked with you. It is a less hardcore approach to prostitution but it also has its rewards. Sessions "won" from ficheras can be totally superior to mechanical rides with AB/CC professionals...and also much less costly. What you spend in ficha drinks can be won back in reduced session prices. No guarantees but just look at it as trying to pick up a chica outside of a red light district. If sex is your determined goal more than bar companionship, definitely cut your losses and say bye bye if she's not committed to the session after the 3rd drink. If you don't want to spend money on risky seduction games with hardcore ficheras, restrict yourself to AB/CC/SGs who just want to get down to it and get paid. There's plenty to choose from.

I don't know what to say about the El Pollo deal. That place is surely operated by bad elements but I've never heard of this kind of a ripoff there. The most common type of El Pollo ripoff is the same thing that happened to you at Carreta...i.e. chicas promising sex but who are really just milking you for more drinks. Disappearances and delays are legendary at El Pollo...but not half hour premature evictions from the hotel.

The current crop at El Pollo includes a small sorority of incredibly appealing young chicas who cavort under the influence just as you described. My own vets instinct tells me that many of them will present a challenge to get them bedded. However, some of them are just so damned appealing, that I am looking forward to an opportunity to pick-up on the challenge.

Pollo Bar used to be one of my favorites but lately the meseros have gotten WAY too pushy. There used to be some really cute girls in there, complete with the 'Deer in the Headlights' look on their face.
I still like La Carreta but I've never tried to take a girl out of that bar before. I just did my business in those little booths upstairs overlooking the bar. Kinda fun if you've ever wondered what having sex in a phone booth was like.

Yeah, most of my mongering in past AlleyKat forays were with the chciks at AB and the Alley with the occasional toss with Diana (when I can find her). I avoid the bars because I don't want to overspend. I just thought to give it a try last week. I thought they all had a room upstairs or used a hotel.

The El Pollo was a set up, plain and simple. This bar set me up for a rip off big time. I was certain I had the deal straight before I parted with my money. They know it, I know it.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how smart you think you are, these crews have all day to dream up a new scam, we have only a few precious hours to execute our intent. The odds are never in our favor are they? Still no excuse for being stupid though. I'll try to redeem myself on AlleyKat 13 (tentatively scheduled for the 13th).

Sorry you got scammed. TJ is well....TJ. I was there a few weeks ago and hooked up with Sterling. I had a good time catching up with him and we went around to the bars and sessioned. The sessions were far from GFE but I still made the most of the trip.

but you need to understand that when you set foot in the zona, you are being sized up by any number of hustlers and chicas (bless them all)-it's a way of life for them - it's like having a fucking bulls-eye taped to your back.

Another suggestion is to READ READ READ THE POSTS. A lot of very experienced mongerers have a wealth of info posted. But that takes time and maybe you want a short version - I'll do my best.

Don't fall into any street guys offering a lifetime of sex for free. All these guys get money from the club as soon as you order a beer. Any deals they make are usually scams. Avoid them.

Taxi drivers make money by delivering you to a particular club/massage parlor etc. Go to your hotel or AB or wherever you are going to stage your mongering activities then move on from there. Few of the taxi driver deals ever work out.

Recognizing that the zona is there to separate you from your money as a sole purpose, some chicas ARE willing to have good sex with you. The chicas in the alley come back as the best "bang for your buck" in my opinion if you are into multipops and have the time/money to spend.

My AlleyKat technique (patent pending) is the "squeeze test." As I troll the alley and get grabbed by the chicas, I'll stop for several and spend a few moments with them, I'll hold their hand, try to give them a hug or just see what kind of reaction they have to ME warming up to THEM -it only takes a few seconds.

Realizing that they are there to make as much money as possible by having sex with as many of us as possible for the shortest period of time possible I learned that if they are warm on the street they'll be warm in the sack and more likely to deliver good service.

They already know you want to fuck them so don't come across like they are not worth what they are asking by trying to hammer on them for lower prices. If you can sweeten the deal for a better experience they are happy to oblige (in most cases).

A $10.00 fuck is a $10.00 fuck.

Stay out of the bars in the alley. They are OK for a beer or two but they are CLIP JOINTS - don't buy anything for anybody. Much has been written about them.

Stay away from El Pollo bar, don't even waste your time there. Some might disagree but it's your money mate, don't lose it to these crooks.

If you are into a fast fuck to bust a nut then the $10.00-$20.00 Alley girls will do. Gringos very seldom get the $10.00 red light special. If you are into a fast fuck to bust a nut for $60.+ then Adelitas or CC or the like will do. The math is simple.

If you stumble across an Alley chica you like, MAKE THE DEAL ON THE STREET before you go inside where deals can change and dicks can go limp. If she wants $20.00 for 15 minutes, offer her more $$ for more time so you (and she) can relax and enjoy each other as best you can. If you choose wisely you'll have a fabulous time. Just do the squeeze test. It tells you a lot about the girl.

Here is where I spring my killer AlleyKat magic line on them and make then crumble like dry cookies: "I pay $20 for me to do you right?" (they nod yes) then I say "OK, then I pay you (insert negotiation amount here) for YOU to do ME OK?"

The logic is, 20. for the fuck, 5 for the room, more for no clothes, suck tit or whatever "surprises" they might spring on you,
a nice conversation on the street, a squeeze or two and then a great session for 40 minutes or so where she doesn't have to worry about pissing you off by asking for more money for something you should have negotiated on the street FIRST.

Some say the alley is inferior to Adelitas and in some ways it is. In other ways the Alley is a better deal. I've gone with AB chicas and had more good experiences than bad ones. As a newbie, you'll have to be careful of the veteran chicas who can spot a newbie a mile away and man, they are smooth. The troll the place looking for newbies - fresh meat.

But you already have good experience at Adelitas so sounds like you know what you're doing there.

Hook up with Monica in the Alley (pics and reviews available on this site). Marisol (de Eduardo) is another FUCKING FABULOUS chick, no picture but she stands in front of the little shop next to Hotel Eduardo. I GUARANTEE you a most excellent experience with her or Monica.

Just do the squeeze test and prepare to pay a little more for a real good time. You will not be disappointed.

To get to the Alley, when you walk out of AB, turn right, make another right at the corner, then another right at the next corner. The "ALLEY" will become self evident -you will know you are there.

The quality of rooms used by the street girls might shock you (especially the Hotel Eduardo) so be ready for that. The charge $5.00 though so it is a case of getting what you pay for.

Street girls will seldom go to your room although my experience has been different. I've taken a few up to my room with no problems.

It's all how you play it with the girls. You have to be nice and respectful. Leave any attitudes at home.

American gringos have a bad rep in Mexico anyway and my experience is that some appreciate being treated nice. They really pick up on it and it could mean the difference between a mechanical fuck ("Finish yet?") to a nice slow and steady experience (the ones we like).

While many are content to expect the best without paying more than they want, you'll do well if you are nice and are prepared to pay the girl to be nice (and they can be REAL nice).

They might be whores but they are people too. They are all business and it's nice when you hit it off well with them because it's neat to have them like you too. Better service in the room especially if you repop with them.
