I am pretty sure that is the name. Was there last friday night, I don't remember what it was called before that. More like a strip club than anything. I didn't see any girls taking guys out. I met a girl by the name of Paola (maybe from Monterrey). Pretty much nursed her drink and let my fingers roam all they wanted. She wasn't talking about going up to a room, but she was open to meeting her after work. I didn't take her up on the offer, but maybe next time.

Is this the place thats on the coner. Just past chavelas. Kind of green on the outside directly across from tropical????? Whats up with this place I always ask around but nobody seems to know anything about it

I've been in once, didn't think much of the place. The drink I ordered didn't taste right. I suspected it was watered down and I think they overcharged me as well. That gave me a poor first impression of the place.
You hear you can take out, but I think it's a similar setup to Pollo Bar where you have to pay extra to get them out of the bar.
If you don't want the high volume of AB or CC, places like Tropical, Chavelas, and Miami are much better alternatives in my opinion. Even Pollo Bar and Hong Kong have better lineups from what I've seen and are better places to visit.
I personally wouldn't recommend the place unless you're bored or a regular that wants an occasional change of place.
I have seen Roxanne, the American girl that used to work days at Chicago, walking in and out of the place as though she works there. Some guys might dig this girl as long as they don't mind her really loud and aggressive personality.

La Botana is a night time only club. Closes Monday and Tuesday I believe now...often change the days....but opens around 6pm. Closes around 2:30, but if you are drinking they will close the door and let you stay in.
