Actually, this chica is from the Sierra above Los Mochis, up past El Fuerte. Anyway, she claims to be about 25, but I think that she's 30+, one kid, no more hubby. She's a former mesera, now just doing the ficha thing. Although she is a very friendly fichera, I haven't gone up to the hotel with her, one of the obstacles is that locals tend to take her out of the bar for extended periods.

I ran into her again. The story now is that she has 2 kids, and is drinking vast quantities of cervezas to gain enough money to send down to Sinaloa for her kids.

I have discovered the reason why chica's will suddenly disappear away from the bar for a while is because they hook up with their local dealer and go score some dope. I would like to think the reason why they do leave the establishment so quickly is because they are going to get something to eat, as is the normal excuse with most of them. Sadly,this isn't so, considering the type of high crime/narcotics area they work in.

With a lot of working girls, the money they make for what they do seems to come so easy. They don't exactly work for it, it goes right up their nose within minutes
