This is the one above the cafe la especial on Revolucion. It was recommended in the travel book 'Lonely Planet'. Oh God what a dump! I paid about $26 per night in Februay of 2003. Plenty of hot water but the noise was overwhelming and the bed sheets almost falling apart and what an uncomfortable feel to the room. The toilet didn't flush right. Seemed somewhat safe and I can't bring myself to say anything else good about this hotel. I'm still bristling with unease as I type these words.

I was on a clandestine spy mission on my one and only ever favorita (a real downer). My two rules are first don't do them if they look too young and second don't fall in love. I forget and break rule number two every once in a while.
