Operation AlleyKat 18 A No Show

I logged a bunch of miles today, In Tijuana and Tecate. A long day and I was tired but looking forward to meeting Diana at the hotel tonight. An early start, an early finish and a good nights sleep were in order. I felt that my performance would be somewhat lackluster because I was so fucking tired.

I got back to the hotel just before 8 and alerted the staff that my girlfriend would be showing up, so see her to the room and they were VERY co-operative. Being nice to these people goes a long way.

8PM turned into 8:30, no sign of Diana. I thought to myself “Fuck man, what’s wrong?” I know she understood to meet me at the hotel, I know I had the time right. I decided to drive to the Zona to look for her. As I left the hotel I reminded the security guys to watch for her, they said they would.

I drove to the Zona, got there about 8:45 and could not see Diana anywhere. I went to the club, she was not there. The guy at the door said she did not show up yet and to check back at 9PM. OK. I parked the car, walked the zona, no sign of Diana. 9PM came and went, no sign of Diana.

I decided to head back to the hotel, maybe she was waiting there, but this was not to be. The guys at the hotel said there was no sign of her. WTF? By now it was 9:30 and I was getting a bit worried. Did something happen to her? Did she find a higher paying gig? All of the above?

Back to the zona I went for one last look. The worst I would do is a good nights sleep. Jeez, I needed it.

Back to the club, back to the street, circle the block, no Diana. It was now a little after 10PM and I was getting punchy. I drove over 800 miles in Mexico. I was tired and rather than waste money on a possible no pop in the zona, resigned myself to returning to the hotel solo.

Needless to say I was disappointed, who wouldn’t be. I’m not sure I could have enjoyed the session as much because I was so fucking tired so maybe it turned out for the best.

I hate being stood up however. If she didn’t intend to show up it would have been very unlike her. Our sessions have always lasted for hours and I always paid her the same, sometimes as little as $60.00 for three hours in a Zona hotel so I don’t think money was the issue.

Maybe if I had sprung for the cel phone or the TV things would have turned out differently. I like Diana very much. Cel phones and TVs however cannot be part of the program. If that’s what happened, then so be it.

I slept well and had a great Friday driving to San Luis and Mexicali. No matter where I go in Mexico, I am awe struck by the beauty of these women. AlleyKat 18 was a bust but you never leave Mexico totally disappointed if you take the time to appreciate these delightful creatures, especially when they smile back.
