I go to CC to meet my favorita - Annie the messera loads me up with my usual 3 red-bulls and then start my Dos Equis. Three hours of listening to music; telling the few gorditas "go fuey," and buzzing alone in a booth I am worried about my favorita. Where is she? IU ask the door man and confirm she is no esta - but should of been aqui hours ago!? Her amiga is making fun of me and smiling at me and asking me to take her- and I just say "exclusivio _______". She understands. I watch CC pick up- then get depressed - then I get mad at myself for having a need to only be with this one chicka - then its like 4 hours later and I have eaten all the pistacios and had 5 red bulls and 6 beers - and then I pull the white-boy bull shit that my stupid buzzing-pissed-off and irratated self pity yeild's: I grab the pritiest girl there- Sara (looks Asian, straight hair, and I feel very beautiful) I tell her "me favorita no esta - me mucho tiempo - yo soy no contiendo." I blab some more broken esopanol to her beautiful face- then this is where my foot goes in mouth---- Sara says "I speak english."

Holy Shit! I tell her the name of my favorita and she says she does not know who it is- and she (Sara) seems a bit upset that she was a second choice. I attempted to small talk- but the vibe was bad- not that she was not cool to me - but I was in a bad mood and drunk- then after 10 minutes she asks me "why you so quiet- you dont want me here?" I looked at her perplexed and said that I was tired and upset that my favorita was not there and that I did want her there - but the raport (if any) died and went to hell- I became even more upset and told her goodbye- and headed back to the border. On the way back from San Ysidroto Fresno a 6 hr drive I came to the conclusion that :

1) If favorita is not there- find another chica.

It sounds stupid and extreamly simple- but why go to the land of smiles to be "stood up," I get that in the US for free.
